Anybody using Grandevo CG, Venerate CG, and / or Regalia?

I'm dealing with a spider mite problem in my flower room for the first time in more years than I can remember. On the recommendation of a garden store I shop at I bought Grandevo CG and Venerate CG. I'm harvesting half of my garden on Monday and the other half the following Monday. They claim it's safe up to the day of harvest, and considering the nature of the product I don't have any reservations about their claim, but the Grandevo CG leaves a clay residue on the leaves. I have concerns about it affecting burn quality. I contacted Marrone Bio Innovations, the manufacturer of the product, who informed me they have never heard of Grandevo causing any issue such as burn quality due to the clay residue. One of their reps actually suggested discontinuing any IPM 2 weeks before harvest which sounded like terrible advice to me. If it doesn't leave a residue that causes any problems why on earth make a suggestion like that? Anyone that's had mites knows 2 weeks is long time in the life of a mite, and I would have a heart attack if I walked into my nearly finished garden to finding webbing allover my plants one morning. I don't have an out of control infestation going on, but not spraying for 2 weeks at the most critical time of the grow is just plain bad advice.

Anybody else use / using this stuff? I don't have any complaints about the products as of yet. I just have a very large harvest ahead of me, and I don't want to spray something on my plants that may affect flavor or burn quality. In the past I have used Azamax up to the day before harvest and have never experienced flavor or burn quality issues. Perhaps I'm overthinking it? This new line of pesticides is the first new product I've introduced to my garden in many years. New makes me nervous. Here's a pic of the ladies with the mites.

This is the residue after rinsing. It doesn't really come off.

Regalia CG and Venerate CG are great IPM solutions that are natural and also Regalia CG is known to increase yields and plant size a lot.. Which I have seen first hand.

Just know that these products are preventitives not curatives. You need to apply it weekly @ 1oz/gal of water and fully spray down the entirety of plants when lights turn off, give it overnight to dry. You cannot slack off schedule on this stuff or issues will arise. I use my IPM up until buds form. Haven't had White Powdery Mildew since where before I was having to spray plants with Mycobutanil EAGLE 20. :O

I wrote an email to the company. Very nice folks. It's just the clay carrier. They are reformulating the product to eliminate the residual clay issue. It did not affect flower quality or burn quality.

I use BioSafe Systems Zerotol 2.0 and AzaGuard from now on. Venerate CG didn't stop thrips even at double the recommended dosage on a Preventitive basis. AzaGuard has stopped even fungus gnats from flying around or showing up to the party which was actually an unexpected bonus. Venerate CG not so much the gnats didn't care. I've got a gallon of it I'm probably going to toss out Venerate. Regalia on the other hand seemed to have benefits so I will continue applying that in my Weekly Preventative Maintenance Spray@ 1oz/gal along with 1 oz of PureCrop1 and 10ml Azaguard.

Zerotol @ 1oz/gallon will obliterate any contaminants on your plants & room while leaving scientifically no residues or components behind other than air & water. Its basically a stabilized h2o2 (hydrogen peroxide). I had some low temp high humidity nights this winter 60 °F / 60% RH and it caused an outbreak of powdery mildew on a few plants. I fogged them down with Zerotol and fogged the entire room wearing a full suit, respirator & gloves and it absolutely nuked all the powdery mildew and not only that but the buds & trichomes were totally unphased by it unlike with other products like Plant Therapy, Green Cleaner, NukeEm which WILL effect your trichomes and fry your pistols on the buds.. Very impressive.

Pretty sure AzaGuard comes in a Quart and Zerotol only comes in bulk.. It's worth having even just to clean your room using it or spray down walls, floors, mop etc..

After seeing what it did to powdery mildew on 1 application with a Hudson Fogger @ 1oz/gal I'll never use another product for sterilizing my plants or clearing any outbreaks pre-harvest or post-harvest.

Interesting stuff, apparantly it comes in 2%-15% concentrations

Zerotol / SaniDate
Peroxyacetic acid is the combination of two important and versatile compounds: hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid. The two chemicals combine to form a new compound, peroxyacetic acid. This is an equilibrium reaction where over a period of hours, peroxyacetic acid is formed in situ by assuming elements of both reagents to form the new compound.
Active Ingredient: Hydrogen Dioxide 27.1%, Peroxyacetic Acid 2.0%

This year I used all 3 Marrone products, and also used spinosad, BT, and Botanigard I did not get a clay residue from Grandevo. I made a very small spray bottle and a very fine spray on my outdoor plants. But I also didn't see noticable good results from grandevo once peak bug season arrived. I did an experiment that worked great, but is not following directions: small spray bottle, scant 1 tsp each regalia, BT, and venerate together. fine spray at dusk under the canopy. I think this was a strong mixture, so I made sure no to wet it too much but very very fine spray. This resulted in the lowest bug count (0 alive) and new damage and eggs the days after spraying. Any bug I found was dead. Before that, caterpillars kept being found, and buds were being cut out. Most thanks to Regalia, life is good again in the cannabis and vegetable garden! AND don't underestimate the power of milk. I needed it for white mold this year and would have lost everything if not for the milk spray.

I also love the Regalia CG! I have used Monterey Insect control (Spinosad) for bugs and it works great! I had to keep up on spraying every 5-7 days, or the bugs come back. But I have found that the best bug control is starts with preventatively spraying from the beginning (or around 1 month from sprout) and continue throughout the entire grow season every week.
You can also wash your harvest the day you cut down the plant, I use the Jorge Cervantes method, there are also other methods of washing harvested Cannabis. Lots of videos on YouTube.
Washing buds at harvest has worked so well for me! It cleans off everything you don't want to smoke and keeps everything you do want to keep. :weed: (: :peace:
