could it be over-watering, deficiency or just a trait of jack herrer? I don't think its the rain or soil as my other plants are not showing any issues. it's just this one plant that has me stumped.

Something is eating your plant. The damage is caused by the piercing sucking mouth parts of a pest of some sort. The damage is concentrated around the veins because they are basically drinking your plants sap. Check them at night. You will probably see whats causing it then

I think I found the issue my well water is in the low 7 ph wise which is usually not an issue as the soil usually will buffer the water to the correct ph. but I just checked my outdoor tanks and the water's ph is at 8.5. I'm thinking that the soil cant buffer that high of a ph causing a nutrient deficiency does this sound right? what could cause the tank water's ph to change on its own?

I'm in Wisconsin. This spring has been one of the worst in my 50 years. Little stretch of nice weather right now. Normally, as my tomato plants go, my medicine crop goes. Sun helps SO much!!

it scared me at first I was like OMG I got bugs after reading the comments. but thankfully I have a high-end phone and a clip on microscope, I scanned every inch of the plant looking for bugs and didn't find a single one except a white moth.
