Anybody have experience with these two 24-7 PH meters?

I am looking at getting one of these two meters for my hydro system. My clones are almost rooted. I was wondering if anybody has experience with these two meters or knows which is better quality. The Control Wizard 24-7 meter or this Hanna meter. Thanks here are the 2:confused: links:

What are the benefits of a continuos PH meter?

Is it more accurate?

The continous reading display will prevent you from having to calibrate your PH meter everytime you want a reading?

sorry i didnt make it sooner but dont buy the hannah meter. Type in hannah combo into the tag search and read the problems. That is all that is posted. Mine showed up today and already crapped out. I am hoping i can return it for a different brand. I have heard the name several times so i figured they were good now i wish i did more research. Hope yours works out but mine is total crap. Wouldnt calibrate and when it did it only worked for 10 to 15 minutes till it shut down.

whats wrong with hannah? i got a hannah water proof ph meter and a waterproof tds meter. both have worked fine and i only calibrate once a month. and i had a hannah a while ago that i sold that never gave me any trouble either.

i went through 3 hanna ph pens in 3 months they are crap plain and simple i got to say they may sell 1 out of 100 that are good but if you are one out of the 100 that gets a good one hold on to it lol. go with the blue labs thats my opinion i would not buy another hanna product in my life almost cost me a entire crop. my hydro store where i bought it told me that 90% of the hanna's they sold came back and they are not selling them anymore they replaced all of mine and in the end gave me full credit for the first one i bought and i got a much better one for like 20 bucks more and it works great not sure the brand but its a good one.

maybe your thinking off the non-waterproof ones. i did hear those ones suck.
mine was not the water proof model and although the waterproof model might be better why sell anything that's crap i wont ever know how there other products work. i do understand that you get what you pay for and for 50 bucks im not all that broke up about it but for 75 im getting a much better/reliable piece of equipment my only ? to hanna would be why produce anything that's shit that's just bad business all together and that's why i wouldn't recommend them to anybody.

you shoulda bought the waterproof one dumbo. i thought u said u grew hydro, you should have bought the right ph meter for what you intended to do with it. the non water proof model is intended for industrials applications, and spot checking municipal water supplies, not growing crops. its 50$ for a reason, and is for less demanding applications. I personally think its unfair to the whole hannah company you would bad mouth a product that wasnt even ment to be sold in a hydro shop, before using the proper equipment. Just my opinion.

well thats why its called my opinion dumbo lol its a ph meter it should measure ph is that not its primary function weather it be in my res or a industrial one??? and dont give me that "its the nutrients crap". its meant to do a job and it failed miserably at it and ya it was pretty stupid for me to buy there crap when the one no name peace o shit next to it kicks the shit out of it ( maybe sad for them but true). like i said i myself wouldnt buy there products again not bad mouthing just sharing my personal experience with the world wide web my friend.

now this cracks me up my friend im really not even offended by this remark but i been doing this so long i dont even use a ph meter anymore to me its all measurements. i guess you could say i got it down to a science haha. i have never grown in anything but hydro never tried a soil ( or anything other ) plant and succeed every time even with hanna's crap i was sold thank god i trust my measuring cup more than there so called ph meter or i would have lost out on thousands.

i contacted hanna and they informed me that my ballast is freaking my meter out. and for some reason they thought it was a good idea to ground the ph probe thru the tds meter. i dont know if this makes it more reliable but i have had meters in the past that this was not the case. asked if the tds probe goes out will the the ph probe still work and they didnt answer the question. Since it only a ground i think it will still work but i dont know. when all is said and done my meter was working correctly but the meter will not work in the presence of a digital ballast. So take that for what you will.

im sure there waterproof model is much better but like i said its ok now i just use a mesuring cup and as long as i keep the res temps down im good till the next change. i still keep one around because if i see anything funny apear on my plants i can assure myself its not the ph you know.
