just asking pretty much a waste of time but for someone doing a computer pc grow in a little box like that just say they did use 13 watt at maybe 3 cfls inside the box how much would they get off one plant starting seed from 12 hrs of light on and off ??

i know its a pretty lame stupid question was just wondering was 13 watts and a little box would put out on a tiny plant being the smallest grow ever id presume or close to it lol

13w isn't much light, you can try a small dwc grow inside it with a little more light and possibly get a bit more of some potent stuff if you buy a good strain.

Dont bother, do it properly in a grow room or not at all. If you get done you will get charged with cultivation, same as the guy producing a pound a month.

U could. Im on uk420 aswell as here and have seen a thread someone did trying to achieve highest efficiency. Was over 1g per watt, using hydro and cylinder shaped netting to weave the plant around as it grew verticaly. In the middle was 2x 15 watt bulbs with 360 degree projection. Cant remember the weight but i was impressed at the time sooo. Peace

.5g per watt is reasonable so you'd get 6 grams.

Would you say bringing the plants into direct sunlight would boost the overall growif being grown in 138 watts of CFL grow box?

If you saying .5g per watt is accurate, id grow 69 grams by leaving my plant in my grow boxx.

By bringing it outside, placing it into direct light, would you say i could expect 4Oz? instead of 2.5?

Temps outdoors usually 70-80 and humidity between 60-75% (60-65 usually)

If you let your plant grow outside, meaning you planted it in the soil and maintained it all year you'd get way more than .5g per watt. That estimate is only for indoor grows. Outdoor, I can't say. Even in indoor grows you can't say that anyone is guaranteed a certain gram per watt, too many factors come into play to given any real accurate number. .5g per watt is reasonable, it is possible to get more and less. It's a safe bet, IMO. Realistically expect the worst hope for the best.

No No, I know that. But Its not an "outdoor grow" as to lighting.

I have it in a grow box, with 138 watt of CFL.

BUT between 12:00 pm and 4:00 PM, the sun shines DIRECTLY into my back yard. So, on the sunny days when theres no clouds, I take it out of the box and place it into direct sunlight.

Saying your .5 gram per watt is accurate to my 138 watts of cfl (ignore other factors such as soil and feeding) you would say the 4 hours of direct sunlight can give it a significant boost, or would
alternating the light source so frequently actually irritate the plants?

I wouldn't say it will stress them, but it won't make them comfortable trying to constantly adjust to natural light, then artificial.
Think of it as you waking up, and immediately running outside into the noon sun and squinting.
Yea, the sun will help your tan after a few hours, but what does it really help?
If it's almost a full session of direct sun, ya, I think it will help, but just a couple hours a day, personally I don't think you'd notice.

I feel like it could help since im using only 138 watts of CFLs. Even though its only a short time, I know that the better light could be good.

My only concern is that making them adjust may actually hurt the plant in the long run.

Guess ill have to look into it more.
