Ive got this idea. Its pretty passive, but its my plan as i grow for the rest of my life. Basically, each year I'm gonna going to mate one female and one male. The way i will choose which ones to breed, is at 1 weeks flowering, i will take 2 leaves off each of my male plants and 2 leaves off each of my female plants. I will smoke 2 leaves in a joint a day. I will mark down my high on 1 - 10. Which ever male has the best high, i will mate with the female with the best high. So, I'm thinking after about 20 harvests and breeds, i will have some good leaf thc? Whatdya think?

edit : for every grow, i will only use the offspring seeds from my little test.

Well. I'm yet to know what strains i will start out with. So, i may start with 3 or 4 different strains, in an attempt to find the one with the best leaf smoke. I don't see this as work, it will be fun. Think about it, if this works, you could harvest a plant at a week or so flowering, and just take everything off and use it for smoke. I would experiment with thc content at different times in growth.

(don't laugh) nirvana is a good one for this. pic aurora, chrystal, or any other white indica strain they have, and you should get loads of leaf resin. master kush was a great one....

I'm probably gonna just end up with a high thc strain. I'm pretty sure leaf and bud thc is very closely related in terms of genetics.

it is, but remember, your hash plants are indicas. sativas aren't generally as leafy or as resinous as indicas (leaves anyway).

Right. So go for indicas. White ones. Look for high thc content. Sweet. How long do you reckon till i see some real result?

My first grow? I reckon the difference in leaf high will be minimal, and probably enviromentaly effected rather than genetically. (I grow most of my plants outdoors, in many different locations during summer..., I'm even thinking of some in my garden this year xD)
