Any workbooks

No matter how many videos I watch or articles I read I still can’t match a driver to a led. Is there any good books that gives lots of examples on how to match them. I can build my on setup but I always have to either ask on here or just copy someone’s build. Thanks.

Goes by series and parallel circuits. For example, if you are running 10 series, 5 parallel with 3.4v/700ma diodes you would need a driver capable of providing 34v at 3.5a. Most drivers will have a voltage and current range (say 24-36v/2.8amp) printed clearly in the description.

It's all about diode count in series and parallel. Multiply the voltage by how many diodes are in series, and multiply the current draw by how many are in parallel.

To sum it up, the total number of diodes wired in series dictates the voltage and the number of diodes in parallel dictates the current needed.

I'd go to horticulturelightinggroup.com and buy one of their DIY Quantum board kits. You build the frame to hold the parts and connect the wires. I think RUI10 is a discount code at HLG.
