Any way to clean out bho?

My buddy ran my buds for me and the smoke is really sticky and makes my asthma go off. I was wondering if there is any technique I can do to I guess purge it or something.

I don't have any of the bho tools so I don't know about that shit. I feel horribly stupid for letting him run my shit now. I should have just made cookies or ice hash.

Freeze precip out the plant waxes and what not

Try winterizing it

ya without any equipment.. u can just grab some coffee filters.. and a bottle of 95% grain alcohol. everclear or the cheap brand.. no flavor bullshit.. mix your stuff with. toss in the freezer for 24-48 hours or until you see all the waxs n shit start to settle and suspend in the extract.. then filter that shit with coffee filters.. and purge the alcohol off. u will get all the butane out.. and then u can get most of the alcohol off with a hot water bath.. id say.. thats the best method.. with minimal equipment.. honestly.

Okay I understand everything until the end, you said hot water bath. Now does this mean I take one pan or bowl and put it in another one with hot water or do I pour hot water on the extract? Yeah I know sounds stupid but I have seriously stayed away from the concentrates side of things as I was a former manager of a collective. I didn't want to have too many things on me if I went down.

But now as I am free, I can experiment on my own and enjoy the beauty of the plant in all its stages. I love not doing this for a living but for a life.

For a hot water bath you just heat up some water and place that water in a dish or pot bigger than your Pyrex dish containing the ethanol extract.
But when your doing alcohol extractions you should be using a pot of heated sand or a hot oil bath, the reason being is the alcohol will absorb the steam from the hot water around it and you will end up having to wait for the water to evaporate.
I use a hot safflower oil bath because it holds the heat for much longer than water.

Some of the terpenes, such as Pinene, are expectorants, so lowering their levels will make the extract smoother on your lungs.

Winterizing, as has already been noted, is a good way to do that, while also removing the non active plant waxes, which also coat your lungs and induce coughing.

You guys are really awesome, I will show you when its all done. I probably wont do it for a couple days though. I am still a little pissed off at the dude.
