Hey,

Is there any other UK windowsill growers out there?

Ive done my very first grow this year. Only a smally one producing 5 gram but i use tiny amounts as edibles so will get a couple of months from it.

Check out my thread 'windowsill grow'

Any one needs to know the seed ill look it up, i think it was a dwarf vip autoflower variety.

Took about 5 months total - may to october lol

Wiuld be great to hear how it goes for the rest of you and to share knowledge on this etc.

Finding it hard to find people who do windowsill grows. Obviously dont produce much but its an easy way for me to do it. I cant take risk of having grow lights etc where i live.

Thought about it but its family that are the problem. When they visit they could end up finding out.

Could end up finding out about windiwsill grow still of course especially if i do upto 5 the size of what ive done which is all i need for personal use. Only thing stopping me is the smell but people say growing scented flowers like lavender etc can help mask the smell so may well try this.

Why not guerilla grow some every year realgorillaseeds is one id recommend they got some mint strains for the uk climate look em up especially if growing at home isnt possible

you could look into lowryder seeds the joint doctor https://www.cannabis-seeds.co.uk/thejointdoctor.html look at betty boo only 30cm tall its too late this year as your plants would be flowering, so a new grow is out the question unless you build a stelth box with a small 50w led light. in there
im in the uk wales, ive grown the original lowryder and smell is minimal betty boo should be a good choice for you or look at there seeds and see whats available now

Hi, I'm on my first windowsill grow, in fact my first ever grow! She is a autoflower, Northern lights. She is now 6 weeks old, I've been using LST on her to try and create even canopy. I also used (topping) i think its called? Where yoy pinch out the 4 node new leaves to create 2 bud sites instead of 1 Christmas tree effect bud, hopefully producing more buds . I am keeping her feed organic. I've been using a ph water metre to make sure water is between 6 - 6.5, and up until this week using seaweed fertilizer for her veg period plus a molasses feed once a week. Yesterday I stared giving her a organic bloom feed and will increase its strength as weeks progress. I think i will still carry on giving her a little veg nutrients (seaweed feed) maybe just spray her leaves with it rather than soak the soil for a few more weeks? Plus keep molasses feed going all the way through flush. I've been told this will produce a smooth smoke. I think she is looking ok so far, but any advice would be greatly excepted. My pics of her below

you shouldent need to feed her for a g long time in that size pot. youshould start your own thread and get advice directly. two growers in one thread can get confusing

looks great, where ru in the world?

surely not in the UK at this time of year, if so that plant is doing very well. i think if you go to forums and then click on start new thread that should work.

Look forward to seeing more progress of your plant

I Didn't explain myself properly before, i was giving her 2 seaweed feeds a week, in 500ml water. 1 molasses water a week in 500ml water then plain ph water inbetween. Now giving 2 bloom feeds in 500ml water per week, 1 molasses water a week, spraying leaves with diluted seaweed feed 1 time a week with plain water inbetween. Is this too much love?

Thanks, Yep in the Midlands, started her off end of August.

She is a autoflower Northern lights. Yours look great by the way, what are you growing? Have you grown this way before?
