Hey, Ive been growing this unknown strain for 1 month and 22 days now inside of an aero garden. its a outdoor/indoor grow. every day when I wake up I bring the plant outdoors to get more sun and in night i put the plant underneath a 250 cfl set up + the head light that came with the aero garden.I feel that my
plant should be much bigger then it is today and not really sure what sex this plant is.

Soil looks good. Nutrients look decent too. Your plant looks to be a fair size for over a month. A little stretchy, but understandable for being outside so often. My suggestion is to flower now....make sure your cfl setup is heavy on the red spectrum (mostly yellowish 2700k). She will double in size or more in flower. Dont forget to transplant into a 5 gallon before you switch to 12/12

I think that soil would work if you transplanted after the cotyledons fall off, dont feed it untill it ask for it and you definitely cannot overwater to soon after transplanting, and eventually probably use bloom nutes to change the npk ratio. I have never heard of that soil though, and you would probably want to veg in that soil as long as you can untill the plant ask for more nitrogen, then i believe you may flip to flower with the same soil but with bloom nute added when they ask for it.

I assume you are feeding grow formula? Time to switch to half grow and half bloom formula. Then gradually over to bloom only by week 2 flower. Transition. You can switch you lights to 12/12 but transition the nutrients. Dont be a noob and just go all bloom nutes.

Its 1 foot and 7 inches. And I know i really want to go 12/12 but i topped it again today, so i might let it grow for another week or 2

Some type of indica? Yeah you should wait a few weeks before 12/12 if you just topped it. You may even get to determine sex before hand.

Any specific nutrients you would recommend?

I use Iguana Juice grow and bloom as base nutrients. They keep things healthy and green throughout. I like that the are organic too. You can buy them in smaller sizes on ebay, before you decide to pay $40 for quarts of each.

From that pic it looks too be a male. However, if this is your first grow, keep it and make it happy and learn from it. Hell you might even have a hermie that will give you more seeds.
