Yeah, a good tent can be kind of pricey, but I look at it this way... something well made will always outlast something cheaply made! For example, I had a few old sleeping bags that were very pricey when I originally bought them, they were something like $300.00 each, (one was a Western Mountaineering and the other a Feathered Friends). Anyway... I used both of them nearly 20 years and they served well, and seriously they probably saved my life a time or two, and when I finally sold them late last year, I got even more than what I paid for them, and that wasn't because of the great stories I know I was able to live because of them, but simply because the companies that made them are still the best in the bossiness, so even though those bags were nearly 20 years old, those companies will still repair or even replace them if they fail to live up to their very strict standards which I would have never gotten if I bought something cheap at my local five and dime! Anyhow, the Vivosun tents are not overly that bad, just be extra careful when zipping the tent closed because the inner flap on the D door side sometimes gets caught in the zipper when you zip it closed and if that happens you can easily break the zipper trying to get it unstuck!
As for the light, it isn't that bad, but it won't entirely light up a 4 x 4 area, yeah, you need at least 480 watts to light up a 4 x 4 area. Also, while that light isn't that bad, it is using older Samsung tech, LM561 based diodes, even the (H) type are from 2018, and if you look at the Samsung site they have been discontinued as of May 1, 2020. But even so, the LM561 based diodes can grow some very nice plants, and i know that for sure because I still have a few rooms that run them, but again, you will honestly need more than 320 watts of them to light up a 4 x 4 area! Other than that, as someone else already said, Fox Farm soils and their other mediums are just fine, but you can do much better when it comes to their nutrients.
