I remove the low brushy shit, but usually wait a little longer. Keeping the bottom of the plant open helps air flow. I also like to trim inner branches to open up the middle. This also helps with air flow.I'm a stripper. I like to strip the bottoms of my plants lol, these white widow clones are crazy bushy and the bottoms were just a mess of small branches so I stripped them. who else does this?

I also removed a bunch of the insides of the plants these are growing nothing like there mothers that I grew from seed. way bushier and have random single leaf sets.I remove the low brushy shit, but usually wait a little longer. Bad air flow = more vulnerable to powdery mildew, especially late in flower.
I'm not to worried about the lower stuff I know there could have been potentially 5g on the bottom of each plant of popcorns. But I'd rather keep it tidy and prevent mold.I suppose it depends on your space. If you have multiple plants fighting for space this probably will help, it is going to end up with only larger, denser main nugs in my experience, better airflow and light penetration.
But if you have the space or only one or two plants per light, I have gotten some decent development and/or large buds off of sites like that with time and patience. And some people have uses for popcorn buds, trim, extra material. Your technique stripped a lot of potential bud sites, which are like gold (at least to me, processing most of what I grow).
You could always LST some of those branches and create more "main cola" nugs. Side, or even underlighting could also help for denser growth there.
There's 9 under a 400watt mh I did accidently strip a part of the bark. They are up for a transplant soon outta there 1 gallon to 5 gallon pots so I will bury some of the stem. I haven't had an issue with the bark being fucked up before it just hardens up almost like super crop.lolly popping yes but stripping the bark no . i would have to replant that deeper into the soil let the very long stem turn into roots . if you had a better light on the top your plant would not make all that bs in the first place
Anyone else watch that 47 times ?
