whats the best way to just buy stocks.....i figure why some of this shit is down might as well buy it up for the price........most of this shit wont stay down forever...

If you just want to buy an index - I suggest SPY - the S&P 500 - 500 largest listed american companies. However, if you plan on investing a stream of income buying the SPY every other week, the commissions will eat you alive, so go with Vanguard - they are the leader in low cost index investing.
