Any OG guys here OR

Im growing an og kush right now and the fan leaf stems are reallllly red. I figured the little bit of red was normal but now the fan stems are like lipstick red. Is red a symptom of any types of mj plants that have a deficiency? Is this a common characteristic of og?

Thx, got that pic off my friends laptop. I didnt know there was a third breeder of OG, im using HSO so I cant compare

Reserva prada also do OG. I have one going now and have found her pretty difficult to keep happy with the fan leaves crisping up and what not.
I did over-feed with Nitrogen in the soil tho... can you throw up a pic bde ?

og is a bitch lol. my 91chemdog pheno had serious reding in my last round but didnt seem to cause any issues. i think its from the cold as my temps get below 50 occasionally. id advise a long veg period of 45-60 days and scroging it

I'm growin the OG from reserva, I get the red stems about 4wks into 12/12, usually only on the topside of the water leaf branches, even when the plant is completely healthy in every other way...but I have noticed he OG like a lot more nitrogen than my oher strains

I bet you hit the nail on the head, I was growing it in 55-65 degree f. But then I moved it outta the grow room and in my room. temp inside is 63-65 average. Now I have the fear that If I move her back in the grow room in 55 degrees temps she flower slowly and produce not as big buds ...dammmmiitttt

ok ...maybe you hit the nail on the head. Yes had the suspicion that she wasnt getting enough N. I think I might have under fert'ed her cause she also looked like she had a potassium def. too

maybe put a germination mat under the pot to help warm the roots a bit? if u air cool ur lights then try removing the glass and dial the fan back a bit. overstock.com has 20"x48" mats for 65-75$

I'm growing OG Kush too and I have a lot of purple in my stems. I get night time temps down in the mid 50s. Hasn't slowed my girls down.
