There seems to be a movement beginning to get away from candy and fruits by some of our beloved breeders in an effort to bring back the old flavors. I was lucky to grow some killer skunk bud in the 90's that must have been a pure indica. grew really slow and alot like many cookie crosses i have done. It was a shiny maple leaf indica.

It was called "The Juice". Midwest, mainly wisconsin.

I have grown hundreds of packs over the years and have had many elite cuts. The Juice is up there with Chem family, I would almost think it was chem x bubba the way it grew and stank. baggie inside a baby food jar and it would still stink up the house.

anybody hear of the juice or get killer skunk in the midwest in the 90's?

anywho , I see strayfox/skunktek is making some progress on the skunk hunt.

What others reputable breeders have some serious skunk in the works?

Sorry, I just don't get it. Beyond a novelty, why skunk?
Wasn't skunk just a generic term? At one time people equated strong skunk smell with potency? And then, from what I've read, the crackdown on weed by Nixon and then Reagan led to growers not wanting pungent weed.

It was definitely used as a catch-all term here in the US too. Ask a non-pothead what your pot smells like and they're likely to say skunk.
