So I’ve been attempting to use the “scrog” method this time around. These plants are from clone. They were transplanted into there pots on oct 9. They were flipped on the 21st of oct.

My Questions:
Should i add another layer of netting?
Should i defoliate under the first layer?
If i defoliate, should also cut the smaller stems that arnt reaching the net?
First pic is oct 21when flipped.
Second & third are from today (nov. 3)

many tips are awesome!

they look like light is getting to them i would keep them for the popcorn nugs but you could cut them to help out the tops more but honestly i would low stress train just a little to spread out some branchs

I agree to the fact they need to be trained ( spread out evenly ) to fill the scrog. Also your scrog is a bit weird but let's leave that aside for now. As for leaving the leaves below the scrog for popcorn nugs, i'd be against it, rather focus all the energy into the top evened out canopies. Back to the main issue, the purpose of a scrog is to grow your plants horizontally while getting as many evened out canopies ( Same height). The top of the plant receives more so its good if they are equal.

They do seem to be getting enough light tho...

In short: Read a bit more about scrogging so you can understand it better :)

I'm not sure if you should defoliate at this point tho...focus on the training for now and experiment with lolipopping later. This is just my opinion :)

That isnt a scrog. Your grow is going to be overcrowded with too many plants.
I would leave it mostly alone, and call it a sog. Trim the lowers and annoying branches 3 weeks or so into 12/12

Nothing wrong with 10 big solid cola's
