I litteraly went to home depot bought a 45 watt led strip light that is like 6000k in a lil aluminum rectangle like a t5 would be. It's supposed to mounted to the ceiling. I just spliced up a power cable from Something else. Now it plugs in instead of being wired to a switch. Cost me like 30 bucks and was good for 2 5 gal buckets to veg. How I started

I'm not really hard on money so can get jus about anything I need as long as I can have it delivered or I can go pick it up.
Get your self a good quantum board led with Samsung LM301B diodes and meanwell driver. Those long lights say they use LM301B diodes but they aren’t in the right spectrum so they don’t grow for crap. You can even get some lights off Amazon with Samsung LM281B diodes would do way better than those kings. I got a buddy with a couple of those kings and they suck. Go to Amazon or eBay and type in quantum board led grow lights or use the Samsung LM301B in the search will narrow it down

So reposting after it's been a few days, week 4 for these baby's. Had a light issue prior to this post. I now have 10, 100 watt cfls 6500k (previously 6), 2 t5 light bars 5000k. Added 4, 28 watt cfls 3500k. Slowly coming together, got them 5 days ago from my brother and they where stretched and bare no leafs. How do they look? Shitty set up I know but had nothing lmfao. Grow tent and led grow panel on the way with new pots.
What size tent did you order? That will help a lot with what light is going to be best. Also add your environment conditions like normal temps and humidity also what exhaust fans tour going to use and type of intake system. The more info you can share the better the info you will receive on setup. It’s best to get some good info before wasting money on stuff that won’t work. If you want good smoke then you have to invest some money in lighting but not a ton but a fair amount as you will get what you put into it. I personally run only a single 100w LED for Veg and then I have a 480w and 3-1200w LED’s for flower. I’m not using them at full power but best to have more wattage then you need and not use it all then not have enough. I feel it’s same for Horsepower better to have too much then not enough

This is nonsense! Because everyone knows, there is no such thing as too much horsepower or wattage! :-P
