I saw the video too. Hes awesome. He's rocking that light...but he's very experienced too. I love my mars tsw 2000 (308 watts). I pulled 13 zips and found out one of my drivers was only at about 75%... its fixed now 8-)
13 ounces from a single auto?

I'd really like to see pictures of this phenomenon.

I get 8-12 oz from photos that I run through an eight week veg under 400W MH and 10 weeks 1000W HPS. I can't imagine how someone could get more than that with an auto.

In no way am I saying it doesn't happen. Please don't get me wrong. I just have serious questions is all.

I thought mars quantum boards were a marketing gimmick as many on youtube demo them. took the chance, don't regret it for a second, they are great value.

The video is very recent...its a monster...but IDK if it was an auto or not.

from me, No not from one plant. And i had photo plants, but were not big plants. My apology. I was meaning I used on my last grow, and got that much. One of my girls was 4.5 zips. I had 5 plants...2 were bad genes and got 1.5 zips combined...shit...the other 3 combined for 11.5 zips

wow in 3 gal. Thats very impressive. Im by no means a pro, just been at it for quite a while now. I thought you could only get there with like 7 or 10 gal pots. What have you done with a 5 gal po?...i might push my girls a bit harder, lol.

Five gallon pails was a waste of medium for me. Gauged against two veg tents, both 3 and 5 gal grow about the same, the 5 gal requiring far less waterings. However, the 5 gal pots were a nuisance, and in the end, produced no more than the 3 gal did. They both required heavy topping and LST. Both flower the same.

I decided on 3 gal because 5 gal provided no benefit to me in a literal side-by-side test.

In early flower, I water the 3 gal pots every three days. At mid flower, every two days. At end of flower, every three days again.

Yes i have found they get to be a bit cumbersome and hard to adjust in your tent. You likely have to water everyday when they get as big as yours do, or do you have some type of automation?

do you have some type of automation?
Of course! I'm but a humble Electrical Engineer. Everything I do is automated in one form or another.

For example, I use tents in pairs. One veg tent for each flower tent. I use custom software with microcontrollers to drive relays to blow the hot air from veg into the bottom of its accompanying flower tent, then the flower tent controls exhaust from there. It's the only way I can have flower tents in my 50-52F basement in the winter.

I also automate some of my nutrient creation. Won't be another three months and I'll have the system worked out to the point that I might even be able to use injectors directly in the auto feed system.

A little at a time.

There's one I did at 17oz mate. Was another 5 oz of fluffier stuff that I mixed in when i punted it but only counted the better buds for the official weigh in. DP-Auto-ultimate1.jpeg.jpg
Hit Google for " 912greenskell Auto"
He does em outdoors and had a few at 3lb+.
Pretty common over on afn cos it's almost solely auto growers so a lot more people trying a lot more things with them.

Im not chasing sales I’m an average joe..... I will say this I have 1 mars tsl2000 (honest to god 2x4 flower coverag) set up on one side of my 4x4 1 foot in from edge of tent so it covers 1 foot west and 1 foot east, and 2 optic 1 xls on other side of tent (2x2) coverage each again 1 foot in to cover a total of 2x4 area and the mars side has waaaaaaay better grow and I payed 285$ for the mars the optic 1s where 200$ each I’m not saying their the best up I will say this 2 of them in a 4x4 will out perform 1 hlg550 as far as even coverage goes its As long as my tent so it has a very even par coverage and 2 of them will get you too 600 watts with the ability to get them 11” from the tops good luck doing that with the hgl550 it’s also 590 vs 800$ to fully cover a 4x4 that’s all I need to keep one useing them

A half pound from a single auto-flowering plant under 150W?

This is my first year growing autos, but what I've been told by auto breeders, that seems like a miraculous feat. Almost too good to be true.

It'd be a stretch to get 8 oz from a photo even after a long veg under 150W.
Sounds unlikely but given the amount of people that get over 2gpw with those types of lights there's no reason it couldn't produce a 300-350g plant.
Just need decent genetics and a hydro res.

Pictures?

Through my years of experience, you've got to have a grow dialed in remarkably to get 2gpw.

Even 3/4 of a pound per plant (as you said 300-350g) is a stretch.

Anyone, anywhere who can produce a pound per plant I would request photographs.

That feat is not a "I'm better than you". It's a "I don't trust what you're saying unless you can show it".

It is a significant milestone to get a 1/4 per plant, let alone a full pound.

Oh fuck I've never had 2gpw, done plenty pounders but with blurples or hps using 480-600w.
Plenty guys hitting 2 with quantum boards and cobs these days though. Especially the hydro growers.
