Any Ideas What This Strain Is?

I know there are some pro growers out there who can identify a plant by looking at it. Any ideas what this strain is? I know it's an indica. It's a bag seed from about 6 months ago. Got some good from a friend and found some seeds in it, so I saved them and started growing one out a couple months ago. I've smoked some of the water leaves *I know... gross, but hey, when you don't have any then f*ck it* and I got a pretty decent head change. It smells pretty skunky right now. Starting to see some nice little nugs growing on her, and she's got 8 colas coming in nice... but she's got a long way to go. Lookin a little bare because I cleaned her up about a week ago but the foliage is coming back now. Any feedback is welcome. Cheers!

Even pro growers can only guess unless they have obvious traits - such as dr grimspoon/duckfoot etc.

Other than that it’s autoflower/photo period and beyond that is indica/sativa ratio.

Call her what you want because from photos alone it’s near impossible.

That is an unknown
Over defoliated
under producing (due to the above)
strain that NO ONE can identify.

Defoliation is more detrimental then helpful.
Your buds will be very under size, very dense but, lack bag appeal.
You have not effected potency.

I suspect it's under powered light wise also.

The good news? It is healthy....

Good Luck

Defoliation is only detrimental when done incorrectly. I've sat here and still sit here doing research on how and when to properly defoliate. Like I said, I defoliated it about a week ago right before buds started to form. It helps with the re routing of more energy to the bigger buds and not the larfy bs I don't want, ending in fatter buds and more yeild, not increased potency. Also, it's small-ish because it's a micro grow. I'm growing in a 2x2x4 tent so I don't want a giant 8ft tall monster. I have it under a 600 watt led running both veg and bloom. I'm also not looking to get "bag appeal" as it's for personal, not to sell. She's only in her first week of flower so she still has plenty of time to fatten up.

Nobody on this planet can tell you what strain that is. Not even "Pro Growers". What was the strain the seed came from? That's what it will be.
I don't remember, that's the problem. He use to get a lot of skunks and purples. Maybe when the buds form more, I might be able to tell. Thanks for the response. Cheers.

The question was if anyone knew what strain it could be, not how my defoliation job is. Defoliation is only detrimental when done incorrectly. Pretty sure it says any feed back is welcome

Looks like it’s definitely a cannabis strain. Next time try not to cut all the leaves off your plant
What's wrong with defoliating? Before I did the early flower defoliation, it was literally so bushy that it was starting to over take my small 2x2x4 tent, so I had to.

I like you! You're able to take a friendly poke, without over reacting. Nice reply too!
I do have to say that removing leaves is simply removing food factories!
The plant does not need the added light for producing and growing buds. You might remove some near the end (last few weeks or so) to add some light to some shaded area's for a better, more even ripening..
However, you do not grow in any form of "multi level" plant...

When you remove the food factories. The plant react's by sending more energy to repair and replacing those lost points of food creation.
I "see" too much removal...

Try a SOG in that space..... You'll kill any defoliated run, yield wise...
I mean it's just perfect for a SOG size wise! You could run 16 plants in 1 gallon pots. If you use the right strain, and the right lighting, feed, environment.
You could hit 480 grams easy peasy! Now if you did that with a 250w HID light (another easy)...You would have gotten 1.92 gr per watt..

Quality producing strain
16 plants
Flip at 8 - 10 inch's of total plant height.

In the end..
You're doing what works for YOU!
If it ain't broke? Don't fix it!
The SOG is a suggestion....

OP may also want to check the actual wattage of your “600 watt LED” as I can almost promise it’s not 600 watts of draw power.. likely, half that or less..if it truly is 600 watts of LED over a 2X2, that 150 watts of LED per sqft, and if that’s true, you NEVER should remove any leaves as that’s an extremely high amount of light for 4 sq ft..

But I am quite sure your light is not really 600 watts.. I also recommend highly valuing Dr Who’s information provided. He has helped me over the years and vastly improved my growing knowledge and skills. He’s been growing (and growing well) a LOT longer than most around here and often has first hand experience with many issues.

I do believe you over defoliate day rather heavily, but as you said it’s for personal use, do wat makes you feel comfortable and try to learn wat you can from every grow!! Best of luck!!

See, I gotta try to maintain my energy usage and keep it at a non noticeable level because I live in federal housing. It sucks but it's a catch 22 for me because it's medicinally legal in missouri but since federal housing still abides by federal law, it's still "illegal" for me to even use it here, so I gotta try to watch my power usage as much as possible. As for space inside the tent, I have my carbon filter, a small space heater, a dehumidifier a small oscillating fan inside there, so space is kinda a pain in my ass so far, but I gotta try to make the most of my grows if I'm gonna waste the time and energy doing it. Having to fully 100% conceal it is a pain also, because it means that I can't utilize 100% of the grow space strictly for growing. I did however make a second grow space by hollowing out one side of a 2 sided 6 drawer dresser that is about 3x3x3 so I will be able to grow slightly more since I'm growing for my wife as well. She has chronic pain and I'm tired of the doctors hopping her up on bs that doesn't work. I appreciate the feedback and will take everything to heart. Cheers dude.

Hell yeah brother got that shit up in the projects. Love it. Outlaw shit hahaha. Don't listen to these sillys they are much too serious to be growing fire. ps. defoliation is hella lame. it's a commercial tech so those retards that produce 200lbs of b- at a time don't mold their crops out.
