molasses is easy to over do. I have prematurely cause hairs to turn orange with it many times. your pants are showing no other signs of cal mag def.

I have used promix for years and years and am always around 6.0-6.5. there are conflicting reports when you google.

Before i would do anything. mix up a batch of ro/distilled at 6.0 exactly. water thoroughly and measure run off. this will determine if you should go down in ph or not. if run off is 6.5 or higher, ph water at 6 from now on

Okay that sounds good..my soil ph has been right around 6.5 the whole time..but I'll check it again then add a bit of N for a week..I really just hope I don't stunt the flowering with it..how would you prevent this in the future..add a bit more N for the first week or two of flowering I'm guessing..

top dress. n wont stunt unless too much but can make more leafy buds. you should be fine. if your run off is 6.5 then yes you should ph your water lower.

do you mean testing the soil ph with metal probe? those are junk

Ive been using Pro-Mix BX for about 4 years now. Ive grown about 24 million dollars of product with it. For every Gallon of Pro-Mix BX I use 1 tsp of Lime Sweetener. This sets the pH to tend upwards toward 8pH. That way, all I ever have to use is a pH decreaser. I use Blackstrap Molasses, so I choose to use Phosphoric Acid. This has a holding power combined with my 5.8pH Organic Nutes to keep it a steady 5.6-6.2. When it gets to 6.2 or above, I just flush with 3x the pot size and then increase nutes.

i let it sit at least a few minutes. if you follow our advice and not be lazy with the testing, you will be fine. keep us posted. dont do anything extreme.

how rootbound are pots?

Yeah the run off is around 6.5.. I use a digital ph probe..would adding a little gh grow be okay or is that really gonna mess stuff up?

if you read my posts again along with Futures posts, you will see we are saying similiar things, He has tons of commercial experience along with obvious personal experience too. He mentions chlorosis while I mentioned cannibalizing the fans. youre in good hands.

Mine looked similar to that right before I started to flower, thought maybe they were rootbound, when I went to depot it I saw tons of salt at the bottom of the pot and all over the bottom roots, got rid of the salt and everything greener right back up again, maybe just a couple of good solid flushes might help her, couldn't hurt right?

after thinking about it, flush and start with water around 6.0. molasses around teaspoon a gallon. especially for the iron. if youre doing just standard gh micro and bloom, I would add 5ml per gallon of grow. for a week or two.

I have a funny feeling your plant is hungry as shit.
I also use promix, 2 diff types. Both expire their nutes at diff times.
I also don't bother with the PH anymore, as it always reads 4.9 or below but 7.5ish in. BS if you ask me.

I also juice the crap out of mine with 10-52-10, a 0-15-35, 0-0-1, 3-0-0 and 1-5-4 all at full str about every 3 days or less.
Never had an issue since I started actually feeding the hungry bitch. Before I did, I had issues like you, but mostly with Phos def.

Good luck yo.

Just wanted to send a quick thanks to everyone that helped...I really appreciate everyone that chimed in on this topic..hopefully it will come out of it..I agree that it's was probably the transition to blooming that had the affect..picked up some hi-brix today and gave them a gallon a peice of regular nutes at a little over full strength..plus a tad extra gh grow..about 5 mil...plus a tsp. Of the molasses per a gallon... I really wanted to avoid flushing..and I just transplanted from 3 gal to 7 gal a couple weeks ago so I don't think there's salt build up..ph'd all my mixes to 5.8 cus I know its around 6.5. I agree that it should come down a bit..well only time will tell...and if I fucked up lesson learned.
thanks again!!
