Any Ideas on Yield??

Hi All,

So newbie here, with a low budget. I have currently only one 125W 2700K CFL, and yes I know I need to add some around the plants, but I haven't been able to get out and get some more lights. Based on my current set-up the plants are about 10-11 and 8-9 inches tall. They are currently in day 5 of flowering after 3 weeks of vegetative growth. I am afraid I started flowering too early (they are currently 26 days from seed), but honestly with the amount of stretch the first two weeks of flowering, I would not nearly have the space/lights to maintain them. I'm using miracle grow moisture control potting mix with nuts at the moment (8-7-6). I use tap water that has sat out for a couple days and have yet to flush them.

Oh and I almost forgot, the strain is Great White Shark, they are greenhouse seeds (I know, I know!!), and they are feminized.

What are your thoughts on current growth and the possible yield down the line? Any input would be awesome!

you should try lsting to keep the plant down.. 3 weeks isnt much time for growth for any plant you need the stem to come in thick so that it can support the weight of the bud and bring in a good supply of nutes

i usually vegg my plants no less then a foot. if there are two plants there you could get an ounce maybe.... and thats if you get like 4-6 more lights.. you can get the 23watts too

I am heading out this afternoon to Walmart to pick up some additional lights and a couple fixtures. Even though they're flowering, the smallest plant needs to be repotted, so I thinking of getting some larger pots as well. I also need to get some flowering nutrients for a week or so down the road.

I'd say, more than a gram and less than a kilo!

You are so early in your grow no one could possibly predict what your yield is gonna be. There are so many variables that come into play it's impossible to predict with any accuracy. You can try searching the strains you are running on youtube and see what kind of averages people are getting.

True, more so I was looking for opinions based on my set-up. I think everyone being pessimistic has lead me to the need and desire for an extreme increase in light around the base and mid sections of the plant. I also wish to repot into larger containers, but I'm unsure if that since the plants are into flowering it may be too stressful.

Wouldn't worry bout side lighting plants aren't tall enough for you to have light penetration issues. Your usually good until bout the second wk of flower to transplant.
The main thing is read as much as you can and try and keep it basic until you get a lil more experience.
