Any Ideas on How to Get into the Industry?

Into what aspect of the industry? growing, selling, dispensaries, caregivers, supplies, nutes, advice, breeding?

Personally i'd be interested in soe form of retail custom DWC copmany, set line of products, but also custom sized ones made to order as people ahve funy size grow rooms. It seems that other than ebay or oxy pots, there are no reasonably priced DWC systems out there, they all seem to be $200 odd for a bucket with an airstone.

Leapspeaker I'm all down for low prices.. but it would be EVEN LOWER if you could grow it.. which you can't if your 25 miles to a dispensary

Forcing patients to buy from a dispensary makes sense if the state is trying to make money, but they don't make money with that model so its stupid. There is no logical reason a CAREGIVER CAN'T GROW YOU if your 24 miles away from a dispensary.

Yeah. From the informal draft rules, at:

Section R9-17-307:

C. A dispensary:
1. Shall cultivate at least 70% of the medical marijuana the dispensary provides to qualifying patients or designated caregivers;

And then also relevant:

2. Shall only provide medical marijuana cultivated or acquired by the dispensary to another dispensary in Arizona, a qualifying patient, or a designated caregiver authorized by A.R.S. Title 36, Chapter 28.1 and this Chapter to acquire medical marijuana;

3. May only acquire medical marijuana from another dispensary in Arizona, a qualifying patient, or a designated caregiver;

4. May acquire up to 30% of the medical marijuana the dispensary provides to qualifying patients and designated caregivers from another dispensary in Arizona, a qualifying patient, or a designated caregiver; and

5. Shall not provide more than 30% of the medical marijuana cultivated by the dispensary to other dispensaries.

And I seem to recall that dispensaries cannot pay for what patients and caregivers provide to them, as per part 4, above.

All of this is from the draft proposal, and is subject to change.

I see a lot of concern of the draft rules here, who cares about the DRAFT rules anymore? The public back lash was HUGE!! that shit wont fly. Some people are suggesting this PLAN B idea floating around based on Michigan's set of rules. It looks much better IMHO. To bad some things are in the law not the rules, aka the 25 mile limit. So dont anyone run out and buy expensive shit quite yet to start growing, you can only grow for a year more than likely.

Public input in the draft rules if all concerned parties would state what they think correct in the public comments section under 203 draft talks folks in AZ would be able to change the BS law as written get off thou butts and type people that is the only way and act you have only a week to change this for the Arizona needed. $400 an OZ is Cal's rate on average along with all other big box retailers act.

How about getting involved in the equipment/nutes side of things? i used to work for a well known manufacturer in europe and its such a big ind, growing rapidly in the states, there are lots of companies in europe that would love to have someone representing thier products in the states as it represents alot of new revenue, you get to go to all the hydro shows and they are great fun and you get to meet some fantastic people. Look for some trade shows and go along you never know who you might bump into and what you could end up arranging :)
