I have 4 rhino plants in soil that are 6 weeks and are only 3-4 inches tall. They are nice and green with new growth consistently however the bottom growth turns yellow and dry then falls off so they are consistently losing leaves. Is this normal? Shouldnt the bottom leaves remain? I am using sta-rite soil that has some nutes as well as nitrogen added. I thought possibly the nutes were too much but I dont see nute burn just somewhat stunted growth and bottom leaves eventually dry up and fall off as new growth takes place up top. I am using CFL,s approx 200 true watts per plant mixed spectrum. Should I super flush the soil to decrease nute level possibly that is mixed with soil? I imagine they dissapate after time and watering? I have read tons on this site and thanks to all but yet have found my specific problem so any help would be fantastic. I want to veg them till they are 8-12 inches tall but I am far from that now at 6 weeks. Help Please!
