Any ICE Growers Out There?

I am not sure what the exact ratio is but calling Nirvana Ice an indica strain is like calling an 18 wheeler a longbed truck. I am in day 16 of flower. I vegged for 30 days. My plants are all over 5ft tall and slow to flower. They are flowering but slowly. If this is a indica/sativa strain its about 10/90 sativa.

Any other Ice growers see this type of result?

I grow Ice but that is exactly what it is called, not Nirvana. You have a sativa/indica hybrid that just has characteristics that make it grow taller. Couldve been a tall indica and a heavy sativa crossed. Try takin some clones and topping it from the start. Pick your shortest one. Clone that and hopefully you can weed out some of the issue. But its not always a guarantee it will grow a certain height. Mj is like that saying, but backwards. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck then it prolly ISNT a duck. Happy Growing my friend. So here are some pics. I am in day 17 of flower. It is slow to get started by has sped up over the last few days.

The plant on the left vegged for 35 days. You may not be able to tell but its well over 5' from the floor.

The plant on the left vegged for 18 days. You can see how much more managable the heigth is.

Hopefully this gives you some idea of how long you will want to veg. Like my post above says, I was not expecting a plant this tall. Its easy to see the sativa doiminant characteristics in the photo.

What do yall think?

i just chopped my ice plant it was vegged for 3 weeks and was nice and short .. had to take it down early (week6) but still has resin covered buds and smells potent!

I grew out 3 ice from seed, took and grew clones from those. They were all pretty much uniform in size. All stayed at a medium height, compared to the white widow and super lemon haze that wanted to grow into the lights.

The smoke is definetely more indica. It's a good couch lock and great before bed. Turned out to be one of my favorites so far.

Keep us posted on your updates and such. Seeing that mine just went into the hydroponic setup i'll have pics coming soon. Put 8 into it and another 2 into soil. Doing another 8 seeds next week in another hydro setup. Can't wait till it starts poppin!
