Hey,so ive built this grow box,im running:

4x 250w 6400k CFL grow lights
15A max inline fan(i run on the lowest speed)
4x 13w 2700k CFL's

I have this all running off of a 15A Breaker, will it trip?

the max that the inline fan can draw is 15A i belive,i dont know the wattage on it,it plugs into a 120v outlet.
i dont know the amperage on the 250w cfl's or the 13w cfls.

If anyone has a amperage rating on both of those bulbs, would you mind sharing that information

i just dont want it to be running, and trip a break well im not home and dank up my room.

yes it will trip
find a 20amp breaker for the lights and plug the other stuff into the 15amp breaker

i don't think the fan draws 15 amps. my 6" inline is 1.1 amps.

what are the actual watts of those 250 watt cfl's?

80% on a 15 amp breaker is 1440 watts

I agree with S&C. If your fan can draw 15 amps, better not wear your hat near it or it will be gone. That would be one major fan. Dimebong said it, AxV= W or W/A =V or W/V=A. I'm going to assume your fan is actually 1.5 amps max for the sake of mathematics. Therefore, you have 1052 watts of light plus 180 watts of fan. A 15 amp circuit has 1400 watts of usable power (assuming you de-rate for safety) or 1800 if you are a real risk taker( don't be that guy.) Either way you are only at 1232 Watts with this set up. lol i can see sticking your head in the cabinet to check the girls and lose your hat, glasses and shirt to the exhaust fan.

Never load a circuit more than 80% of it's rating.

Watts divided by Volts = Amps

400w/120v = 3.33 amps

I usually go by 110v just to be on the safe side.

400w/110v = 3.63 Amps

For your equipment, add up the watts...so let's see here...

250w x 4 = 1000w

13w x 4 = 52w

Now your fan is more than likely 1.5 amps not 15 amps lol!

What's the cfm of the fan?

So far for just the lights...

1052w

1052w/110v = 9.56 amps

To find the safe load of a circuit multiply the amperage of the circuit by .8

15x0.8= 12 amps.
