32x32x64" grow tent. Stealth grow. Week old Bubble Kush autoflower sprouts . Anyone with a similar small grow tent able to raise their humidity by spending around $30? There are many small personal humidifiers out there. When reading the negative reviews (which I trust more than positive reviews), I find most small personal humidifiers don't put out much mist. This is probably because a lot of humidifiers are also used for oil scents, in which case, they're designed not to put out much more than a puff of mist. Other negative reviews on Amazon say theirs makes a gurgling sound and are not that silent.
Setting shallow dishes of water isn't doing the trick. Humidity on my autogrow sprouts is about 22% (wintertime, dry air, etc). They're doing fine so far, but I'd like to quietly and cheaply raise the humidity. I've blocked off the HVAC wall vent to the room and have a sliding window opened to let in air. Thing is, lately it's been 25% humidity outside, which is unusual for So. California during the winter. La Nina weather pattern is why! If we were in an El Nino weather pattern here, it would be rainy more often and the average humidity would be 45-55% at this time of year. (La Nina weather pattern is why there are wintertime fires raging in So. Calif.)
Anyways....not gonna happen without spending more and hearing more noise? Is it that crucial to have better than 22% humidity? I mist the top soil in the Solo cups they're sprouting from. Tent temps with a 1000w LED 30" away and 6 CFL sprial bulbs (6500K) that hang close to my sprouts reach around 79F. That's good when it gets cold in the morning (to have the lights running). I just wish I could raise the humidity significantly, quietly and cheaply. Any suggestions as to an effective small, quiet and cheap humidifier? Try and keep in mind this is a Stealth grow when replying.
PS. I posted here rather than in the Stealth Grow forum. That forum just not getting that many views.
