Any Canadian Growers?

SLH yields a lot of resin, not so much buds. I'd say low to average yield in that respect, but the resin is really the valuable thing these days so keep it in mind.

I was told to wait longer. I really hate the end cause the rain is coming. We had a great day today, really hot. Tomorrow is suppose to be fine but like I said, the rain is coming. I am thinking of putting up my gazebo to make sure they don't get rained on and I get bud rot.

Wasn't a bad one, sounds like you're referring to southern Ontario, you should be good, looks like a better week and some sun this week good luck.

Yeah went out to bc on the motorcycle. Had some amazing weather. Don't think we put he fly on the tent once. Went all the way to Port Hardy on the island. Beautiful out there, its my 5yr plan to move out there (mainland bc).

thanks bro.and yes im referring to S.O.
I brought my (3) big one's into the garage to finish them, but I left a small one out and she's doing fine. Still behind but at least putting some weight on the last couple of weeks, the cool nights def helped kick-start them. She'll probably go straight to the hash bin though, buds aren't going to cut it no matter how long I leave her out imo. But I'll have a nice hash stash :bigjoint:

I am going out to check mine after the rain here on the west coast. going to piss all week so I think it might be time to put up the gazebo. This helped last year. What about the cold nights though? Last year I put a fan out there so they got air movement.
What do you all think?

Is the gazebo completely closed in? I put mine in s shed at night. To keep thieves away. But I eorry as there's gas in the shed and I wonder if it's affecting the plant. I take it out as soon as I wake up.

Typical wet coast weather on the way, got my girls under a makeshift shelter using a glass patio table up on blocks with a slight angle for water run off. Figure the glass top will still allow for light exposure. 12/12 as of Wednesday here.

Strange, I germinated bagseed and I thought it was all purple kush , one of my three plants isn't showing any characteristics shared by the other two. Mystery plant, there's a chance it could be a local favorite Texada Timewarp :)

Mojo, you're one lucky man up there! We have different micro climates throughout BC. I don't think you'd get away with planting in April down here but maybe more experienced growers would say different?

I drove through highway 3 into Van this summer, was that ever bloody hot! But we'll have to see how we do with the colder nights as they come. If I can go into Oct with mine, we'll just have to see but I am super nervous being an inexperienced grower. I don't want it all to be for nothing. How can I say that, what an education. That's another way to look at it. experience. How else can you get it?

Thanks for showing those pics of your purple kush IHave6cats.

actually I live on a beach...the surrounding mountains deflect the bad weather...approx 280 days of sun here...it rains in both towns north and south, but we get very little...and lake-effect provides for a longer frost-free season...and earlier planting timing...if I knew what I was doing, I'd have 12ftrs every year...but I'm learning...learning is hard at 57 and crippled up...harvest is even worse....lol....;))

OK so i tried to upload a couple videos but it doesnt like the format, I am uploading them to youtube right now. These are from about 5 days ago. Had 3 days of COLD almost freezing weather, and a bit of light frost possibly where the plants are. They are pretty sheltered and are probably OK. Next 2 weeks supposed to be nice and warm and sunny :-)
I thought green crack was supposed to be fast flowering and good for us northern growers???? Mine is super slow, just started to flower. LA widow and sugar black rose are much farther along.
If the branches look a little like theyre on a funky angle on 2 plants, is because they had fallen over and i just tied them up to big spruce poles. For a size reference, those spruce poles are 15 or more foot tall trees originally i cut down and stripped the branches.
I gave them their first fertilizer ever, just some tomato fertilizer CIL brand with the osmocote. I couldnt bear the thought of walking 3x5 gallon pails of Connoisseur PHP through the bush lol, and no waterhole nearby, it dried up lol.
The sun was great this summer for growing monster plants, but it seems to have delayed flowering. Its my first time outdoor, but they seem a week or two behind to me....maybe not i dunno.....already dreaming of next spring..........
Hey does anyone know if they still sell AN Heavy Harvest for outdoors?

I set up the gazebo and near the end of the day the sun shines right on them. I can take off the top if needed but with the whole week saying rain I probably won't. I hope they will get enough of the sun if there is some. I rather then not get rained on cause I worry about bud rot. I can take a picture if anyone would like to see my set up.

Yeah, I wasn't impressed. I wanted to get some fresh sea food, the visitor center sent us to some pub right by the harbour. I could have got the same food back home. Didn't see or smell anyone smoking weed. Over all it seemed like a pit..no offence.
