First of all i would like to say how happy i am to be apart of such a great data base of experienced growers. I hope one day to inspire other as you growers have inspired me to try my hand at this.
Ok i brought an Aerogarden Pro 200 at a thrift store for $ 5 dollars everything works great on it (guy did not know what it was) then i spent another $15 on the sponge baskets and nut's, i had 2 bag seeds i saved from some great stuff and started them in my machine while i waited for my seeds to arrive.
1. Auto blue (pyramid seeds)
1. Quick poison (Zambeza seeds)
2. Wild thailand ryder (world of seed)
I am now into my second week after they all germinated and they all look great ( a little mold on the top of the sponges but i will check the threads to see what can be done about it) would like to move the 2 bag seeds and 1 thailand ryder to soil to find the best method of growing for me (space is and issue) so do i put the sponge into the dirt ? don't see any other way to do this as the roots are all in the sponge, and even with my other auto fem plants should they be moved to a bigger maybe DIY system? the tank on the areogarden does not look like it is big enough to sustain 3 small auto's. i find that the machine is great for starting but not sure about finishing. I am attaching some photo's any help is greatly appreciated.
