ANY Advice for a FIRST Time(R)??

Hey fellow gromies,
My girls, here are 2 weeks old. I'm using tap water. Unknown PH. I am waiting on my PH meter and Up&Down in the mail. T'was Suppose to be delivered on friday..‍♂.. MY luck... I'm using FFOF soil. I Mykos'd the soil during transplant... I'm Looking into ordering Cal-Mag, and also an N-P-K Nutrient line. Not sure to go with Humboldt, GenHydro or, Foxfarm.... any suggestions? Any brand "better" than the other brands? Thank ya's.. BTW, the 2 on the left side are Laughing Gas strain. On the back right side is Train Wreck. Amd then, the Middle solo cup is a bagseed and the front right is also just bagseed as well, unknown genetics... I only have a temperature reading and the temp fluctuates between 75-86'ish. This is my VERY FIRST attempt. So Idk if they are where they are suppose to be. Growth wise, ya know. I google 2 week old plants and some of them look like monsters, lol. But, thank you all, in advance... STAY medicated.

Welcome to growing...

Just take this grow as a learning experience, find what works for you, then stick to that..
Post pics when you can for better help.

Resist the urge to over love the little ones. More is not always better. I've always used the 3 part General Hydroponics system, reasonably priced, excellent results.

You have some time to decide on nute choices later . That FFOF will feed those plants easily for weeks by themselves. Since you are waiting on ph pen , you can go to any grow store and purchase PH drops to see where your water chimes in. It takes a small sample in a tube - you add 2 drops of solution , then check color against color chart.

FFOF is prebuffered at 6.3 out of bag - so if you fall somewhere between 6.5 - 7.0 then you should be fine for now until you get your ordered gear.

Dry nute lines ( not bottled shit ) tend to have better shelf life and use for soil since you can either mix in water or scratch in top of soil ( when needed ) .
MEGACROP / Dr. Earth ( life / premium / homegrown or flowergirl ) / VIVOGRO tomato fert / others.

GH MAXIBLOOM / GROW is another simple and effective 2 part nute. Maxibloom can even used alone for full grow - it's that good. However this must be mixed in water ( mixed well ) before use , NOT topdressed.

And of course you can topdress your plants with SAME FFOF during grows and somply water in.
It is by far the simplest method and only needs the water ph to right ( 6.5 -6.7 ) - allowing for drift - before watering it in. Super simple to do.

Plants look good BTW.

Thanks man. I am definitely going to look into those dry amendments. Much rather go that route. thank you

Thinkin about using batguano for a fertilizer. Are their any nutes in that, that would give me an "overload"? Also, I can use that, guano, as a "top-dressing", yeah? Thanks

I would not use bat guano unless I needed a quick fix to an early deficiency.
There are two types, one for veg (Nitrogen) and one for flower (phosphorus).
They are fast acting so for a plant without deficiencies I'd be careful, it might do more harm than good if you use too much.
You have at least 2 weeks or more before you will need to top dress.

If you want to top dress read this thread.
