Antsss! Need help asap!!!

So i go to do routine maintenance on my dwc plants and holy shit! one of my plants root structures is COVERED in ants! there eating away at my roots! what should i do!? are they beneficial or harmful!? what should i do!? ive already found where there coming from and have cut off there passage by surrounding the hole with soap *that does the trick in my house* but wtf do i do bout the ants in the root system?

they're eating away at your roots.. so im guessing theyre not beneficial..

spray them off your roots, and everywhere else.. change your rez and do a full cleaning of your area they multiple quickly
