You can spray her with some eucalyptus oil to try to deter in meantime ants dont like the odor I guess. But i believe you have aphids that are attracting the ants to your pot. I would research on ways to treat your soil safely, maybe neem oil as a drench? Again im not positive just something ive found interesting about aphids and ants so whenever I hear about them thats my go to. Unless you are using molasses or something sweet then thats the cause also. But theyre attracted to the dew aphids excrete or poop out its sweet to them lol

yeah,i believe the ants are farming the aphids.the aphids are sucking and drawing sweetness out of your plant then the ants are stealing the sugary substance.get rid of those aphids first.ladybugs(actual ladybugs), liquid ladybugs(spray) theres a whole bunch of organic ways to treat for aphids.im in a spot with red ants so i always pay close attention to what exactly theyre doing when i see them on my plants.gl

Cool to hear peoples fixes. Let us know how it goes I dont believe aphids will ruin it fast but dont let it go untreated

As long as you keep it dry using DE as a top dressing on your soil will deter anything from walking/crawling around.
yeh i read about that...you know thats fossilized algae..anyway I'm trying not to spend any money on the elimination of those little shits

It's about 8 bucks for a pretty big bag of DE at Lowe's. Early on ants ate one of my Blue Shiva X Blue Shark sprouts.
