ansi MH ballast

was gunna buy a pulse start mh ballast but wasnt sure if i can hook it up to a hydrofarm hood or any other type
how would i go about doing this if so

All hoods generally work with all ballasts, if you have the wrong connector type then you can buy conversion connectors so that you can connect it up.

I use a USA sun systems blockbuster aircooled hood in the UK which has a small black adaptor at the end of the power hook up for a UK ballast to connect to it, if i was in the USA the little connector block would not be needed.

so at the end of my ballast i should have a female plug end ,instead of a socket

but change the socket into a female plug?
what about the ground?
