I havent grown much but kush is awsome but everything is cald kush around here and skunk I had like 10 years ago it smelled just like a skunks ass I was driving in a car with my mom and it smelled like a skunk she had no idea it was weed then I smoked a bowl in the bathroom and she thought it was my ass fuckin halarious I would love to grow some of that shit

And what you wrote as headband is actually sour diesel. I think sour kush is headband just a different name or backcrossed to the sour d instead.

To confirm on what you pondered Jamboss, the original Headband originated in Nor-Cal's Emerald Triangle.
When DNA introduced their version in seed form with the same name, it was clearly not the same plant.
Not a bad plant as I see it get good reviews from people, but it just wasn't true Headband.
I believe someone stepped forward, quite possibly the original breeder(s), and asked DNA to cease and desist.
DNA could feel the heat in the kitchen and did the smart thing and changed the name to Sour Kush.

This is what I've heard for years. Look it up.
Original Diesel (aka Diesel #1, Headband, Daywrecker Diesel, Underdawg) came from a cross of '91 Chemdawg x (Mass Super Skunk x Sensi's Northern Lights)

mass SS/NL hermd and pollinated the diesel and sour d was born.
