Another shining example of how Tilray is screwing canadian medical patients

Perhaps you didn't read my post...I'm talking about privateer holdings, aka tilray making a killing, not the government of Uruguay. If they were not going to make sizeable profits entering the Uruguay market they wouldn't bother. And since they have to work within the $.90/g model set out by the Uruguay government and they are working towards making it a reality it is obviously very doable. So, once again why would it cost 14x as much to bring it to market here when costs aren't that different? Throw in the cost of testing and slughtly higher labour i could see maybe $5/g tops. Also, why so quick to defend Tilray Leaf? It seems to me that this story just goes to show how badly patients are being overcharged in Canada, something I would have thought you and whomever else are gathering info for Conroy would find useful, no?
The profit that an LP makes unfortunately doesn't help the court case. I think the majority of LPs are not running at a profit right now...kinda irrelevant either way.
Now the affordability to the patient is a different story...

I am starting to see a trend these days with LPs, and that is to try and create news. I have seen more and more uh...bullshit stories appearing since HC clamped down on enforcing the no advertising regulations.
Tilray is very good at this tactic. Last week was the job fair I think....wonder what news will be out there next week?

I wouldn't be surprised if Tilray was thinking about export from uruguay
They couldn't compete if they were planning to import....

Buying at 90 cents a gram is probably still cheaper than what it costs them to produce

why wouldn't they just buy it down there and sell it up here.....
.90/gr
Do you think it would pass the testing once it reached Canada?
HC allows Bedrocan to import from Holland, but do you think they would allow Tilray to import from Uruguay?...maybe, dunno

You would think they would pick a better climate though...like Jamaica.
well if they we're wanting a climate like California, where they could grow all their current strains outdoors, then Uruguay would do just fine.. doubtful they are wanting to get into the sativas (real sativas)

Sure they would...Sativas come from equatorial countries. They need the long season to mature.

I didn't think the climate there was that great.

...and I'm not happy that some patients are having to pay these outrageous prices.
If a company like Privateer was to enter the Uruguay mmj market it would be for other reasons than trying to make a profit selling to the locals at a buck a gram. They would have a lot more freedom to do uhhhh....research there.

MONSANTO = TILRAY.. Of course they want in every country.. Pay off all Governments and federal agencies..It is a global takeover.. Monsanto uses same tactics over and over again...DEA works with them. FBI works with them so does RCMP. And Canadian government aka Health Canada.. Buy all the insiders... They have infiltrated everyone.. Not a ma and pa thing.. 160 countries andmonsanto-no-food.jpg 160 countries and counting.
