shoot I often had leaks that couldn't be fixed before harvest and I just managed them by catching the water to a closed res ten fixed it after harves, no big deal, unless you're OCD :D

What i mean by leaching (spelled it wrong last time) is toxic chemicals absorbing into your nutrient solution. i ised a shitload of epoxy, and my stuff is going great.

As long as the materials/resins/silicone you use is for drinking water applications, it is fine for hydroponics. I have used PVC in hydro for ages.
