It's been awhile since I last posted a thread, the last one being the Happy thread & hopefully it was funny/uplifting.
I think it was.
Now back to my pessimistic/dour norm.
What the fuck is going on in this country?
It ain't just Covid-19, that eventually will be conquered/ controlled by science/vaccinations (for those that want to survive)
It's the division in/of this Nation, seemingly based in a great part on income inequality/racial inequality/lack of a efficient/balanced educational system/Healthcare to mention a few.
Then we have politics, us vs them/Red vs Blue/neo-Nazi facists vs Antifa/ capitalism vs socialism/ BLM vs racial inequity.
And you know what it all boils down to in my opinion?
Lack of a proper, truly equal/fair educational system which so far has emitted/produced too many under-educated Republicans( their too stupid to understand when their getting fucked (and the wealthy just smile)
The dumb fuckers believe everything that lying sack of shit says, why don't they beleve he likes them, simply because their idiots?

Well anyway I got my rant in.
Since Nixon (who really started the ball rolling) the GOP has been full of lying, sef-serving, racist, xenphohobic (more items to list, but I want to keep it short)
Really, what the fuck have the Republicans done for the US?
Fucked everything up as far as I can tell.

Study: Income of Top 1% Has Grown 100 Times Faster Than Bottom 50% (moneyandmarkets.com)

Add to that a increase in poverty, crime, debt & homelessness (I'm tired of typing again, there's more)
It seems the only thing that has gone down in the US, mostly under Republican Administrations, is the life span in the US.
We are the most expensive in the World and we rank 42nd for longevity.
Figure that the fuck out ((oh, that's right!, it started under Republican rule, that explains that)

Life expectancy in the US is falling, but why? | World Economic Forum (weforum.org)

The Vigin Islands has a longer life expectancy than us, and that's just wrong.
So, you can thank the GOP for the state of affairs in this country, from Covid/poverty (which feeds criminal activity), essentially every fucked up thing in this country.

But, they did accomplish some things while in office, producing the most felons/indictments/Impeachments in the History of the United States of America.
Good job, you motherfucking curse on Mankind ( refusing to accept Climate change comes to mind as far as fucking the Planet/Mankind)

You didn't leave a option for 'yes' in your poll.

I would point to the rise of radio in the 1920's being used by dictators like Hitler to con his way into power, and now a hundred years (give or take) the internet being used by dictators like Trump the world over to con their way into power.

Same shit different day.

It is all one big ass illusion that is able to highlight the very worst of humanity that has been always present and amplify it to look like it is statistically worse now.

The wife and I watch finding your roots on PBS. The last one we watched had two Jews on as guests. One of them remembered as a kid hearing Father Coughlin railing against the Jews on the radio. The same thing happened with the printing press. Hate will find a way.

It's sad to say, but it's ultimately good to know the number of the people on the far right. They've always been here. They were just waiting for someone to speak for them. Individual 1 merely observes this and obliges them. He continually pushes the limits, stands back and says "we'll see what happens." When there's no consequence, he pushes the envelope some more. Remember, his run was a publicity stunt. Like the slime he is, what criticism there is doesn't stick. It only emboldens him. If it wasn't so consequential, it would make a fascinating study of human behavior. In reality, it's scary. I have to keep my belief that we will withstand this tragedy. Either that, or we absorb the death of a great experiment. If that happens, I'll feel guilty.

The US will muddle along as it has in the past. Might let China surpass it though.
I've been around the block a few times as an old saying goes, and have existed during times of upheaval from the Civil rights marches to LA getting almost burnt to the ground due to the police brutality in arresting Rodney King, which is still going on it seems
I've never seen such a fucked up time in our Nation's history like the last 4.5 years (includes Biden's 7 months in office)
The USA has been going down the tubes for awhile now, starting with Nixon and then now the finishing touch, that abomination Trump
The infrastructure/educational systems are a disaster.
Poverty /unemployed/homeless/foreclosures/crime in general, especially mass shootings are all at or near record highs
Why?
It's simple to figure out actually.
I pulled this from PolitiFact

"(George H.W.) Bush 41 took it to 300 billion." Close, but not exactly. The number was around $255 billion at the end of Bush’s term. The deficit spiked at around $290.3 billion the year before he left office.

"(Bill) Clinton got it to zero." This is true. During his presidency, Clinton managed to zero out the deficit and end his term with a $128.2 billion surplus.

"(George W.) Bush 43 took it from 0 to 1.2 trillion." This is in the ballpark. Ignoring the fact that he actually started his presidency with a surplus, Bush left office in 2009 with a federal deficit of roughly $1.41 trillion.

"(Barack) Obama halved it to 600 billion." This is essentially accurate. Obama left the presidency with a deficit of approximately $584.6 billion, which is more than halving $1.41 trillion. The deficit was even lower in 2015 at around $441.9 billion.

Reagan wasn't listed, so here's his contribution to the deficit.

Reagan took the deficit from 70 billion to 175 billion." This is more or less accurate. The federal deficit went from about $78.9 billion at the beginning of Reagan’s presidency to $152.6 billion at the end of it. At points between 1983 and 1986, the deficit was actually more than $175 billion.
Trump brought it, the deficit, to new heights, actually unimaginable heights, but Trump accomplished it.

One of President Donald Trump's lesser known but profoundly damaging legacies will be the explosive rise in the national debt that occurred on his watch. The financial burden that he's inflicted on our government will wreak havoc for decades, saddling our kids and grandkids with debt.

The national debt has risen by almost $7.8 trillion during Trump's time in office. That's nearly twice as much as what Americans owe on student loans, car loans, credit cards and every other type of debt other than mortgages, combined, according to data from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. It amounts to about $23,500 in new federal debt for every person in the country.
But we got Trump's Wall at least right?
Nope, all a waste of time and money.
That asshole even fucked that up
So, this is my question.
What is the common thread between these Presedents, the ones that created the largest debt?
Ah, that's right, they are Republicans
Everytime a Republican is in office, we go down the shitter it seems
No, actually that's a fact.
Fucking destroying the Nation, those motherfuckers

That's the real problem with Trump's ("I'm the debt king!") use of debt - we got nothing for it. No jobs, no infrastructure, nothing. All during an improving economy too.

A few people got third, fourth and fifth homes, better jets an yachts, etc., but we got screwed as a whole.

I've heard there's a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine that the experimental "vaccines" are resulting in miscarriages in pregnant women. 82% in some instances.

Fucking Trump!!

You heard? This is why you shouldn’t believe everything you hear at your incel meetings. If you took 5 minutes to check for yourself you would have known what a crock of shit that was.

“Among 827 registry participants who reported a completed pregnancy, the pregnancy resulted in a spontaneous abortion in 104 (12.6%) and in stillbirth in 1 (0.1%); these percentages are well within the range expected as an outcome for this age group of persons whose other underlying medical conditions are unknown.”

Hi slave. What a good post for me to read for the first time in a long time. So much wrong with your post. You heard wrong about it being in the New England journal of medicine. The article in question appeared in an anti-vax rag and was even taken down by them with only the headline remaining. Of course a hundred other sites frequented by semi-morons such as yourself parrotted it, as did you, because they are mentally feeble and accept whatever they hear if it confirms their idiotic beliefs.

Yeah, hundreds of thousands of pregnant women have been vaccinated and 82% have miscarried but it is only being reported by fifth rate sources. Sure.

You should listen to Sherri Tenpenny. In addition to claiming that they make you magnetic, she claims that vaccinated children will never achieve puberty. That's good news for a despicable pederast such as yourself.

I laugh at you. You are a fool and a slave to your own mental defects.

And thats OK, that a shitload of assholes keep voting for Republicans, which have historically fucked over the middle and poorer classes.
What the fuck is that about?
Oh I know.
A shitload of Americans (mostly Republicans) seems like they don't mind being fucked over.
Fucking idiots and I'm (we're) surrounded by those imbeciles.
Fucking sad, isn't it.

Because they have been convinced that 1. the Democrats murder babies and drink their blood and shit, 2. are trying to end religion, 3. are going to take their guns, 4. hate their liberal family/freinds/neighbors enough to want to gloat when 'their team' wins, 5. whatever else they convinced themselves of though decades of listening to hate radio, watching Fox news, and being trolled online with the right wing propaganda spam.

I kind of look at this as us getting to really get a good look at how shit like the witch trials and nazi's were able to happen in real time.

It sucks we have to see it, but outside of Trump's win in 2016, I can't really see anything else that these evil dicks have won.
