another ´is it ready´ thread, @ 80+ days

ok so this plant is an unknown strain, tastes/smells fruity, and the odor is strong.
i put it into a flower at 12/12 under a 85W CFL for the first 30 days or so, until it could go under the 250W HPS (no room for it in the flowering area).
after that, its been atleast 50 more days flowering under a 250W HPS, at 11/13 and now closer to 10/14

the trichomes are, id say 90% cloudy. the other 10% its hard to tell if they are clear, or cloudy, or maybe amber, just kinda hard to tell. My other plants have a clear finish date. these are hard to tell.

i cut off a little of the popcorn nugs, about a week and a half ago, dried them out, and they did the job. pretty well. since then, the buds have swollen a lot more. hard to get a good pic without the light fucking it all up.

How long do you guys thing left on it? im debating cutting back on nutes now, and cutting in a week or so. im not expecting much yield, this plant was under a CFL for veg (like i do with all of mine) and half of flower (which i never, ever do). but it will definately be 3 ounces or so, maybe 4 off everything, so not too bad for a badly treated lady under a 250w. granted my other ones ill pull much closer to 1p off one plant. this one is smaller tho, about 3ft wide, 3 feet tall, and has 10 tops. (you can tell from the photo, that pot its in is 24x24x24in)

Looks like another couple of weeks to me, but if the trichs are where you say, then shouldn't be too long. Honestly though unless those pictures are from a few weeks ago, I think you might be over estimating yield. Or are you talking about 3-4 ozs wet weight?

eh its probably close to 5 wet, id imagine 3 dry. the pics really dont do it much justice. theres an entire back row you cant really see, and yea they are a week old id say.

i dunno, this plant is totally different then what im used to seeing. short stalky, sloooooooow. and covered in trichomes. my main strain is done in 60 days, everytime. also this one, ive added a lot more carbs and sugars to the soil then usual, trying out a new recipe.

i usually wait til i see some amber trichomes, but this ones been there for so long. has anyone else had plants thats 3months+ to flower, going well into the 4th?

total, maybe 6-7months from the day i recieved it as a clone. i vegged it hard, and took tons of clones, this would be the ´mother´ (even tho its really 1st generation clone), and i have about 20 more of the same strain (2nd generation clone) waiting for their turn. kinda why im so unsure on this one. but with it taking this long, i dont think ill keep this strain.

its 80 days in flower, 30 under a 85W CFL, and then another 50-60 under a 250w HPS

I have read a lot of stuff that suggests harvesting BEFORE you have amber trichs. Some studies suggest that once a trichome is amber, a lot of the THC has turned to CBD. These studies suggest that the THC content of a trichome is highest when it is still completely clear, but the head on it is fully enlarged and looks ready to burst. Of course, there's a lot more to marijuana than just THC, and just because the THC content is highest at this stage does not necessarily mean that it is the best time to harvest or smoke the marijuana.
