Another first time CLF grower =D

well im starting my first grow indoor with cfls. i have a MH im thinkin of using but i think i wanna go ill cfl =D. so any tips would be greatly appreciated through-out the grow. and i will be posting pics. ive started germinating 12 seeds three days ago to get a few strong looking ones to pick from and getting my box ready to make out of a huge ice chest like the oldschool big white ones lol and planning to build it taller with large tote. Ive already got canna coco with hoffman horticulture vermiculite. about a 60/40 mix and gonna plant about 6 of the germinated seeds.

stick with the MH. you will love the results.

well im gonna have to go with the cfl eventually for flowering. but can i use the full spectrum 5000 cfls while im using the mh???

i thought the whole point of this thread was cfl growing...if someone wants to know about mh wouldnt he go to a different thread

why would u use the cfl for flowering when u have a mh or y wouldnt u use both

becasue im using cfls still and theres no MH sub category. thanks for being a dick w99illie. and i want to know if i can use both. i dont think an mh will work for flowering anyways. i think u have to switch to hps so clfs would be alot easier and efficient

You can use both lights. Many people will say its pointless to keep the MH while flowering but I believe a full spectrum owns all. All the way through my veg I used 6500k and 2700k on a 2:1 ratio then switched it to 1:2 for flowering.

cool cool, how long was your complete grow??? was it in a box or an open room??

you might get a lil better results with the mh and cfls but the better thing about cfls is less heat and you can get way more light on all parts of the plant just by placeing the lights... i would say have fun and just experiment with cfls.. thats what im doing and i love it... You should check out my grow i have growing and if you have any questions me and alot of the people that check in on my grow often will help any questions you have...
