another fan or cool tube for 36in x 24 inch x 5ft of height grow tent?

i trying to lower my heat in my new grow tent. My temp meter say 90 to 92 F but doesn't feel that hot in grow tent by my feel. I got a 4inch inline fan taking out air, also fan bring in air. I think prob is might because i don't have cool tube for my 400 watt mh right now. Is this reason why or should i upgrade to another inline fan or put other fan in there. I will have pics tomorrow or wednesday. If any can help out thanks. Newbie here

Honestly sounds like your out take fan isnt keeping up, maybe see if you can find a higher cfm fan to replace.

Also... just to make sure, you have the exhaust fan exiting the top of the tent and the intake at the bottom, correct? Heat rises and cold air sinks, I know this might sound like common sense, but actually knew someone who did this backwards, and had problems with high temps, reversing adjusted his temps almost 10 degrees.

i have the out take fan up top pull the air outside the tent and intake on bottom it might be the fan but a cool tube would for sure help

Oh there is no doubt having a cooltube would help, but sounded like you already have a vented reflector, unless I am mistaken.

i bought a cooltube just recently coz of hot weather, but its not the full answer as i av a hot spot in my tube, and i run a 5 inch fan to blow the air through it, it goes filter / fan. /duct. /cooltube. /duct out the tent, the temps dropped by about 2 degreese plus u loose a bit of light wiv the cooltube, canopys r better, but when its a heat issue u av to do somethink, though 90 /92f is not the end of the world ur plants will b ok as long as there gettin plenty of air to them n water, personaly i cant wait to put my cannopy back to get more reflected light, so think carefully before buying one coz u dont want to end up buying a bigger fan, more money n all that, to stop any hot spots building up in the tube , good look in what u choose to do, take a look at my pics, click comunity at the top of the page/ my albums n look through a page or 2 to find my cooltube setup pics, its heading is/ 2 white widows

no bro the hot spots occur in the glass cooltube if u dont av enough air suction to get rid before it heats up the glass tube, hence the hot spots, my plants dont av hot spots just the dam tube i bought thats y i say b carefull; before u invest cos if u dont get good enough suction u will get a hot cooltube which defeats the object, but like i sed it helped to get them down from 29 c to 27 c in hot weather
