well i found out that you really want to use brewers yeast as the backers yeast ferments to alchol pretty fast. I put 1/3 of envelope, per 1/2 gallon of water w/ 2 cups of sugar. I think if i did it again i would do the binegar drip. gl with it

well the yeast, sugar and water method is ok at most its not hardly worth the time to make though its not hard and smells like beer imo you have to keep adding sugar and it wont make many bubbles at least not enough to make a difference in your grow. you would have better results bringing in fresh filtered air but if you really want to do it its a better wine recipe online if u look or check out https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/36773-easy-wine-co2-generator.html .i made it myself in my first grow maybe 3 times thinking i would get more bubbles each time till i realized it was a waste then i tried dry ice looked cool but another waste cuz it melts in 1 day so i used no c02 after the 2 fails lol just growing and bringing in fresh air when i could and i had 5 plants got almost exactly a pound dried

USE THIS FOR ONLY SHORT PERIODS OF TIME~~~this being said, it is a great way to add co2 to the air, but keep it at a limit. since this isnt a functional machine (like for large grow rooms) you can not control the amount of co2 being put out into the air, which can turn negative by poisoning your plants with too high of a ppm rating. keep it at a minimum.

I tried it and ended up w/ gnats in my grow box! Plus, like Cmonson, said you have to keep adding the messy ass sugar and it's more chore than it's worth for no more of a change in results than I saw.
