The label terrorist is interchangeable with the term revolutionary depending on perspective or, if one was to take a neutral disposition, both terms are synonymous.
No, they're not. Revolutionists are attempting to overthrow an authority or government. Terrorists attempt to enact social change by terrifying the civilian population into submission.

That would present a proverbial thin line to separate the two for all it would take is one "terrifying" act of subversion for a revolutionist to be a terrorist.

True enough, but a thin line is still a line. All it would take is one murder, rape, theft, etc. to make one a murderer, rapist, thief, etc.You don't cross the line, you didn't do the crime.

Yes, such titles are permanently irreversible. But given the similar premises of a revolutionist and terrorist, it is very easy to falsely label (or even disguise) the two, especially with media and other mass manipulations of social ideologies thru educational institutions. Also, consider those blinded by artificial concepts such as nationalism, statism, racism, and/or religion. Taking these societal facades into consideration, neutralize your disposition, then reevaluate who were identified as terrorist or revolutionist; terrorism or revolution?
