i look at it like this
people always say well he/she wouldnt come around when im smoking if they didnt like it
dogs happent o have like 150+ smell receptors or some shit in their noses, so they may just be curious
second
dogs eat cat shit out of litterboxes,.....
doesnt mean its good for them and yes they will go back for more if you dont stop the behavior lol

omg, lol, my dog as a pup would go into the kitchen and eat the cat poo, and we'd always yell at her when we saw her.. she got yelled at so much, now she's afraid to even go into the kitchen at all, lol...

i like to look at it like this.. Would you get your kid(s) high? If not why not?? Or how about slipping someone a roofie? Same thing as getting a pet stoned imvho as they don't have a choice in it..
And secondly, who's to say they're enjoying being stoned? Oh, they come back for more is what i often here.. Ok, on that, my dog ate my $125 light bulb once.. Loved it, not a shard left when she was done mind you, must've been tasty and she enjoyed it very much.. Would probably have done it again when she was in that stage, but was it healthy for her? Eff no, i was worried sick for a week.. Animals as smart as they are at times, can make some very stupid decisions, and as pet owners, it should be your responsibility to make the right choice for your pets, and getting them stoned is so not the right choice..
exactly....

Maybe, just maybe, one of you two flipped on a light switch and someone is rethinking their view on this.
i'd like to think so, but pretty much every time one of these threads pops up, both sunni and i are in them posting pretty much the same things over and over.. i feel pretty passionately about it, as i'm sure sunni does, although i don't want to speak for her..

I don't ever try to get my dog high, but the bastard will eat all my drugs when I leave them out (I've gotten better, but still pass out from time to time). He eats all my weed... eats all my shrooms. Lol, the first time he ate the shrooms he went under my bed for hours wimpering it was pretty sad. But the last several times he stole a HUGE amount, and he had a blast. I had never seen a dog do a backflip until this one ate some shrooms. And when I used to drink, he would steal my drinks after I passed out or left them unguarded.

my last pet, my cat Dora *rip* would hunt out my doobies and eat them and whenever i was smoking she wouldnt move an inch away from me or whoever was smoking . i think if a pet wants to be stoned, if its grown, it should be their decision

Mine was an accident that I learned from. I don't deliberately get my animals stoned, nor do I want anybody to give me some drug by force. Like stated above curiosity gets to animals sometimes. My dog pry sniffed out the brownies for the chocolate smell, he got more than he bargained for though.

i dont know if this was kinda aimed towards me, but i hope it wasn't as you posted pretty much what i would have, i think even if they come around you when smoke they still probably don't realize that the smoke effects them. And wether they do realise or not simply cause you cant ask them i wouldn't never intentionally get my dog stoned, i don't think its that big of a deal but i haven't and wouldnt get my dog stoned, he might have been stoned when sitting in the same room but i think i will try go out of my way when i vape to make sure he doesn't get stoned.
I hope you didn't get the wrong impression i agree with what you said.

And wow your dog ate a lightbulb was she ok? lol, like you said there so intelligent when it comes to it but they do some bloody daft stuff.

So do you make sure that your dog is in a different room or blow the smoke straight outside a window? because they will get high sitting in the same room if someone is smoking/vaping, wether you wanted to or not unless you have been really cautious every time you smoke/vape or your dog is nowhere near you, your dog will have been joining you.

nah rasta, not pointed at you at all m8 as i say pretty much the same shtick in any of these get your pets stoned threads...i think i have it written down somewhere, lol..

yeah, she was ok, was super scared for like a week though, every time she would go out in the yard to do her thing, i think my heart stopped till she was done, lol.

You say it should be there decision, fair enough but what makes you think they realize there getting stoned, i honestly dont think no matter how many storey's people post about how their pets like getting high and come to you when you smoke i dont think a single one of them realises what that smoke does to them. I mean there is lots of reasons a pet might just comes to you when you spark up, smell being the obvious one.

Im sorry dude but even if you had no bad intentions and didn't want your dog to eat your shrooms and whatever other drug you 'left out for him', this is pure just irresponsible i mean your dog could have been seriously hurt or might of died and it would have been pretty much your fault. I bet your dog was freaked the fuck out i mean even any intelligent human would be if they started tripping and didnt know why, and he wouldnt of never figured out why that happened to him. I dont think your a cruel person or wanted to do anything fucked up but i bet you could have easily prevented your dog from doing these things whatever your excuse is. please man dont do this to your pets its not right bro. weed is one thing (even this shouldn't be done) but dogs doing shrooms and alcohol nahh man that not debatable they shouldn't do it.
