And just like that things are coming together! Just called a guy on Craigslist and will be picking up is carport frame and side panels for $15.. :D So DJJ.. You ready to divvy out that soil yet. ;)

Nice you goin carport green house? i am thinking about getting another once setting up there up in norcal. Especially for the rains. I need to get some seeds and start bein pro active : ) Season be here before i know it.

Yeah that's what I'm doing. I want to do things a lot better and nicer this time around. I am actually going to prepare this season!

I HAVE A NOSY ASS LANDLORD.. i cant even put one out back i wishi could do a huge outdoor.. he called me out last year from work and gave me a couple days to get em gone..i just put them into the garage w/ my lights..lol.. least he didnt evict me i guess..

Damn man! Well that's what you have to deal with when you are a renter! I have the luxury of knowing my landlord REALLY well (marrying into the family) and they really don't mess with us out here. :)

Dude, as a property owner in this weird climate, and a crystal clear memory of previous times of property being seized by the DEA for a couple of plants, there is zero chance I would sanction a grow in any rental, and I live in a legal state.

Sorry...that's where the rubber meets the road. I'm not risking my retirement for your grow. peace, mg

D.E.A. is not who you should be worried about. It's your landlord. He can evict you or report you to the police and then evict you. Then there goes your rental history when looking for a new place.

Just be careful and take the proper precautions. :D

yeah, the situation is complicated.. i work for state farm,,
our office insure ALL OF MY landlords properties, we have a business relationship outside of the rental agreement, when he saw the 4 plants i put outside last year he fore warned me that he didnt want me to have cause it could cause legal complications his excuse, but ok whatever. i told him i had my card he asked for a copy, i gave it to him and that was the end of it i havnt heard anything about it in over a year =) on another note i am very careful about noise and whatnaught from my indoor, cause he would shit a brick i think, =)

Well I told myself that I wouldn't grow again but after watching you guys and the fact that I did what I did with little to no prep......... I'm going for it this year with less plants. Goal is 5 lbs again. I was hoping to be getting my hands on a 400W light and some clones to start some moms. :D Got my seeds sitting in the tent right now. I guess it's not a bad time to start thinking about a new thread. It is 2012 afterall.. :D

Thanks for raising my bar but I know I can do it. The seedlings are looking good. Can't wait to take clones off of these plants. with my bubbler they will root in seven days. keepem green dirrtyd

Couldn't agree more, on a practical basis once the Feds are through "posturing" (very weird here lately), but when you play the rental game, it tends to make you paranoid pretty fast! For every world class tenant who treats the place like their own, there are 10 who don't give a shit and figure they have nothing to lose 'cause it ain't their property. Sad, but true.

I HAPPEN TO BE THE FORMER,i like having a nice place to call home he knows this so isnt trying to sCrew me (or himself out of rental money), just protect HIS INVESTMENT i undersand, ALOT of his tenants are sec. 8 (not all bad but....) SO HE IS used TO THE idont give a fuck routine that im sure of

i happen to pay my rent by check he doesnt "inspect" BUT he will park in the alley an be lookin over the fence, my pit doesnt like him AT ALL

I am going to attempt it. We will see. Hopefully I can get the area prepped and get my carport assembled in the next month or so and then work on my genetics 100%. I think I will be working with DJJ on soil but I still need to clear all that up. So far I have done more prep work in the last week then I did in the 3 months leading to last years grow! LOL

Hey DJJ.. The tree that you recommended cut is down. :D
