I find that the substances themselves will scold anyone who does not take them seriously. Mushrooms have a way of demanding respect should they sense that they are not being sufficiently feared.

It's only sad that some. Emerging from an encounter, frightened and shaken will claim it was "only a bad trip". But the mushroom has made its point. Scopolamine and atropine may teach on more assertive ways, like simply but agonizingly ending the life of the user.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ So TRUE .....words of wisdom.

Set and Setting are so important! ...... along with the utmost respect for these conscious beings.

having experience with datura, (not angels trumpet (and yes they both have "datura" in their latin names, but you know what I mean)), I can say it is hard to find a proper "dose". the plants seem to vary in potency and thus make it very difficult to predict. the desert kids used to take a small handful of seeds... but even that can kill you... the effects are as such: first your pupils become enormous, but your vision is horrible... that is why it would be best taken at night, because you can't really see anyway, and there aren't bright lights to destroy your eyes. then you basically just go off and sit there mumbling to yourself about things that have no reality or truth... it isn't a mind opening thing so much as just a delieriant. some people start talking with imaginary people, and some can get aggressive and even violent towards those who are around them, and towards themselves... then you sleep... then you wake up and are even more incoherent... then you sleep again... then you wake up... but maybe you aren't really awake and are still just dreaming... then you sleep again... some people never wake up. It can affect the respiratory system and screw up your breathing, as well as throw your heart beats out of sync which can lead to an arrhythmia. One person I know started choking a girl who was there at the time he took it, then he stripped naked and started fighting the police. it really isn't the same as other psychedelics... I have heard stories of some people in India smoking wolf's bane... I would think that it is more similar to that... more of a poison than a mind opening substance. The after effects can be serious and very long lasting if not permanent, and of the little you do remember of the experience, it is nightmarish. Almost everyone who does it doesn't want to again. if you want to experiment, I would have a sitter with you, which is asking a lot, because it can last for a very long time. and start small... maybe with the right understanding of it, it could be something very good, but for the most part, it isn't what most who try it are hoping for.

I was curious. That's why I came here first. I ditched the idea never did it don't plan to. Indo believe in certain things with certain drugs. Lsd is my favorite for opening the mind and beyond. DMT is definitely on my to-do list. I'm 37 btw. I live way the hell out in the country. 30 plus miles to the nearest shopping center. So finding shit around here can be tough. I don't believe in spiritual stuff as I'm atheist. But the third eye and ECT ECT I do have thoughts on. Thanks you guys
