Andro's First Grow (pics)

So I have already started to grow simply by saving some seeds and putting them in damp towels, then into pots. But a lot of questions had come up during that time and now. I searched for information on growing and rolled upon this forum, which has so far answered all questions.

This is my first grow and would like to document it because for one, growing should be shared with everyone, and also so that you can point out anything I am doing wrong or right during this process.

Mystery seeds...

These seeds are from a small dime of this weed that I found one night in a film canister. I wasn't able to see it due to me smoking in the wee hours of the night. It got me real high, pretty high for a dime. So hopefully it is some dank.

I believe the plants are on week 2 since I transported them to pots after they sprouted. Here are the picks from week 1:

I have been keeping them in my shed which is warmer than the outside. I am making a grow box for the two plants just so they can grow faster. I keep them under regular shed lights (the long tube ones) 12/12. Watering them once or twice a week seems to be fine for how small they are.

Cool looks like you're off to a good start! however if you plan on using fluorescents I would go with cfl's, I started out with standard shop lights as well, then I learned of cfl's switched and my plants are doing a lot better. now I'm using the shop lights for side lighting.

Good luck on your first grow, these forums are a tremendous help, I'd be lost with out ROLLITUP & FRIENDS!

Sorry about the 3 week skip

Alright, so I have taken some more pictures to update my grow. I feel like my plants are growing really slow. It might be the living environment or something else. Maybe you can tell me what I can do to speed up the process.

Plant one:
Height -- 3 inches





Plant 2:
Height -- 2 inches





And this is my "setup" if you will



I know its not a real setup but its what I have for now. The temperature in my workshop can be as low as 50 and as high as 70 since it's fall. And the lights above are just regular shop lights. Any ideas on how I can create a nice grow box for free. Or something cheep.

Yeah they look tiny for their age, also your lights are way too far away, I would move the lights right above the sprouts an inch or two, with the light you're using you can get away with it being that close as for cfl's you would want them a bit higher 2 - 4 I found appropriate for cfl also I would repot them now in larger pots and burry the stems up the the first set of water leaves that will also help speed up growth and to insure they don't go root bound.

Dude I take it by 12/12 you mean 12 hrs. light/ 12 hrs. dark and if thats the case that's probably the reason your plant ain't growing too good is because you got it on 12/12 which is the light ratio used for flowering you need to have it on 18/6 or 24/0 which ever you prefer your robbing these baby's of 6-12 hours of daylight

Ahhh dude you got a "THAT 70'S SHOW" avator, that show is the shit seriously funny. There all funny in their own way, Is there a new season on sometime or what?

Is it really over, I thought eric went to Africa and just a little while ago I seen one where he came back and they even had a new character on there some goofy looking white guy but I don't know because I don't get to watch it that much no more.
