So, we moved the kids into the tent today. California Lightworks Solar extreme 500 at 33". We're trying to figure out whether we should put them on a light/dark schedule. They have been 24/0 since birth. Three of them are popping their 3rd set of true leaves. Two of them are screwing around and slacking. They're still "working" on their second set, but they really lack focus and dedication. We would welcome opinions on whether to change the light cycle.

I’ve always stuck with a 24hr cycle until flowering, but you could try an 18/6. I think the biggest thing is you’ll have some plants that are less vigorous than others. In the next few weeks they will either thrive or not. At that point you can make the decision if you want to grow them out or not.

As an added bonus turning on the light only increased the cellar temp (68 F) by 8 - 9 degrees and with minimal ventilation only 4 degrees higher. We'll see how this changes as the light gets closer.

I checked on the Super Soil compost buckets yesterday. Each one had a half inch crust of dry on top that got stirred back into the mix, after they sat for a couple of hours I peeked in to see plenty of humidititties still abound (no need to add water). The smell of the mix has started to changed as well.

It sounds ready to go. Turn it over every week or so if you think about it.

water day may have been one day late

very early this morning
2 plants took 250 ml (a wee bit late)
1 took 200 ml (right on time)
1 was given 150 ml (a bit early)
1 not watered (no growth)
temp 75.7 F
RH 53.5 %

Also the Super Soil was remixed today, man that smell is really nice.

Most definitely! I wanna give the two Jelly Pie's a bit more before a pot swap.
They've all got roots reaching to the bottom of the starter pots (I'll see about getting some current root pics)

So, we think we had the lights to close. All of the little grey spots have turned brown and crunchy. These are older leaves, and we don't see any issues on newer leaves. We have since backed the lights off to 28". They started at 33, we moved them down a couple of times until they were 25. That was only a span of a couple of days. I guess it was too much to fast. We apologized to them. Hopefully they are happier now.
