This my first grow, flowering for about 2,5 weeks now just to see what you think, I've noticed that most of the long stems have turned reddish/purple Is this weird in any way? Also some of the biggest fan leaves have yellowed falled out I read this is normal during flowering stage, Any good advice will be highly appreciated. The strain by the way, if anyone is interested is called ''Punto-Rojo'' a local strain.

You need to get that plant under some real lights soon. By real lights I mean intense. HID's wiil help put some more growth on and fill that out. Do you ph test your water?

Actually, i posted a while back, i live in guatemala. Although I have gone through numerous grow guides This one just happened to grow naturally in my garden as I regularly throw my spare seeds through the window, amazed I decided to nurture it and transplant her to a pot with some good soil mixed with worm castings. add that to the occasional nutrients added , that's as far as the nurturing has gone, so the plant has kinda grown by itself.
Never checked the ph levels of the water and don't know where i can get ph paper or the like. As far as the yellowing goes it happened more on the bottom of the plant but some of the middle fan leaves fell off too(about 5-6 leaves in total). Also the flowering seems to be gowing on only at the top of the stems but the rest of the stem seems, well, naked(see pics) ; furthermore some of the pistils have shrivelled up and gone brown while other parts of the plant are just beginnig to show a few pistils... looks kinda weird to me...
thanks for the prompt reply btw, and cheers for this website it really unites growers from all over the world and let's us noobs get precious and great info :)

Hey thx for the tips mogie, kinda sucks, i was hoping to grow the baby using just plain sunlight , plus i dunno if i can afford HID's let alone get hold of them in these parts of the world... I'll try to find some though, at a cheap price hopefully:s

matias... outside light should be enough.. even on over cast days, I can not imagine an HID putting off MORE light...

Mogie? any thoughts?

It's happening again !two other fan leaves are yellowing! Notice how the stem is also quite purple-ish.. I have tried to find a way of Ph measuring but there is none I can find at hand, I don't think this is due to nutrient deficiency because ive been nuting them regularly. Is their anyway of telling the problem by the pics? could it be due to pot size? The plant is set in a small one gallon pot, and ive many times considered transplanting to a larger one but didn't find it necesarry since this is an experimental first grow.. Any ideas of what may be causing this?

get it out of the pot it's alright dude some strains get yellow leaves way befor there time i have on right now like that keep'er outside real light is the best light get it out of the pot put it in the ground why does everybody who grows outside put them in pots theres lots of ground to plant on if you have it in a pot you should just grow it inside
