Hey guys. Im a few weeks into my grow, and im using AN grow, micro, bloom nutes with Promix HP soil. Im currently at 1/2 strength atm no signs of burning ECT. My question is how often should i feed with these nutes realistically? And should i use all 3 each feeding as desribed? From my reasearch you can use with soil but they are ment for hydro grows. Also i used these once before on an Barneys farm auto pineapple express and i started to notice nitrogen toxicity (clawing) during late flower effected yields slightly. If any of you could help I'd appreciate it thanks!!

Hi, im also new to growing but im trying to get as much information as possible and for my first grow i bought AN, they just arrived but from my research i can say that you should use them once a week or every third/second watering starting from 1/4 dose and moving up. The key is to watch your plant. If you are 100% sure that its nitrogen toxicity just dont fed him micro/grow/bloom in your next nutrient watering and just use your "boosters". If you are not sure that its nitrogen then the best way to act is post photo here. How your feeding program looks like? water/nutrient/water/nutrient? How often do you water ? What are temps and humid ? I might not be able to answer but other peapol will need that informations anyway.

I was inquiring about feed schedule mostly my ph temps ect is spot on. I just want to get the most out of my nutes without over doing it like last time. I was referring to my last grow with the nitrogen toxicity. I noticed after i started flushing it started to recover. I gave it to much nitrogen lol. My current grow is going good. My feed scheduled atm is plain water between each feeding, and im having to water almost everyday to day 1/2 i wait untill my soil is dry to re water. Im also using high porosity soil Promix HP i have 10 plants in a 4x2 tent 600w mh/hps

Drop N substantially and add more P&K in mid-late flower. Allow the plant to absorb the N nutrients out of the bottom leaves so you don't over feed.

Thanks. I just flipped them to 12/12 yesterday and topped. For height reasons. They are landraces from swami organic seeds. Blue orca haze, 79' maui wowie (cherrybomb) i will post some pics asap

So when you say drop the N and feed more PK by how much i only feed them 1ML of Grow and Micro per gallon so drop both to .5 ML per gallon during mid flower and bump up my bloom to 2ML per gallon? Thanks

Fire there is just some “truths” going around here and a lot of peapol just repeat them without explaining. Just feed your micro and grow and bloom every 2nd feeding. And there is no golden rule, every strain has different requirements. Watch and adapt. Unfortunately there is no perfect schedule for feeding. If you see nutrient overload just skip one feeding. If you are 100% sure it’s nitrogen toxicity just don’t use grow/micro in your next 2 feeding and then go back on track and watch.

Yes. But if you water so often like every second day I would feed nutrients every third time. Water/water/nutrient/water/water/nutrient. But that’s just my two cents

Right. I hear you. Yeah that was my initial thought to prevent salt build ups ECT. I dont see any of those routines being bad as you mentioned before the more frequent watering the less feeding every 3rd watering feed thanks

Ok so i grow in coco in which i feed everyday and nute everyday. You're using pro mix hp.. ive never used that so i don't know whats pre packed in there as far as nutrients goes. If im not mistaken ive heard people getting good results not having to nute within the first month or so. I don't induce nutes till a week or two into my grows with only calmag buffed coco. Maybe someone that has exp in that particular soil mix will chime in.
One more thing.. when "flushing" with just plain water doesn't solve salt build up and I believe it fluctuates ec too much. As long as you have 15-20% runoff with nute solution, it'll get rid off any build up. Salts more attracted to fluid than sitting in your medium.

Use nutrients every feed, just like you would in coco. Both peat (which Promix is) and coco are considered hydroponic grows.

To boot, Promix HP is inert, which means it contains no nutrients at all.
