AN or Humbolt Nutrients?

How do they under perform? Is that by your experience? I hope you don't cite that journal sir. I find it very biased with all due respect. One who has never grown with AN shouldn't use Connoisseur right off the bat. You yourself fell for the hype: AN states one should be very experienced, a master they say, to use this nute regiment. You saw MASTER, as in a professional that you portray yourself , and bought it !! Just sayin'

That's right. I have 70 so posts so I'm a greenhorn. Most likely I smoked shit with UB in high school for I know.
 
I find it amusing the only war the cannabis plant seems to start is the one over what way/nutrient is a better method of growing.

BROBIE just a question, How is the Connoisseur line for 'Masters'? I have some left overs and it seems pretty straight forward with equal parts of A + B. My results were good and I can't complain other then outrages price I paid for the bottles. I did find better more 'attractive' results with a different brand. Attractive as in Dyna-Gro seems to always turn my plants purple......and I like purple lol.

Over the last 8 years of growing I've made the switch from Miracle Grow used with fish emulsions to General Hydroponics with the Lucas Formula, then to Advanced Nutrients and two years ago to Dyna-Gro.

I for one really enjoy Dyna-Gro. Its very concentrated, 5mls is a strong dose and can burn some plants, I have very few bottles (three to be exact) and it just suits me.

Yield, plant health, ease of use, value, etc. You may have found my journal 'biased' but I found my current plant food by doing the EXACT same test ( ~ Dyna-Gro vs General Hydroponics (Dumpster grow). Was that test biased too given the fact that my results prompted me to actually switch both my promix and hydro foods?

I don't expect you to understand my kaizen but I'm where I am today because of my method. Where are you?

My results are the same actually but larger scale, not 6 plants. I just skin a cat a bit different. The only thing is I don't insult those who have their own methods, like that immature guy chuck or whoever. So your other journal prompting you to switch signifies your impartiality? Hardly not. Do another grow with Sensi PER DIRECTIONS before you cast judgement. If you do, I think you may have a more positive opinion, but there would be the problem of you saving face. Just kidding, but give it a try, its not like a big deal, 25$. Or are your profit margins that low? lol

Personally I find dyna too low in cal. for me. I go F-Pro veg, Sensi bloom. It's not like it's breaking the bank, i mean shit really?

I said I smoked with him for all I know my infant one. How old are you? Is there not a minimum age here? Are you tall enough to get on the big boy rides? You are right though, I actually went to High School.

Well they recommend professional or Grand Master growers as the expertise level in the brochures,. I know , it's all marketing bullshit but thats what they say, but it does imply you should have some experience with AN beforehand. Why did you do well and HB did not? Can you pinpoint what he did wrong?

Dyna is great, I use F-pro, 9-3-6, perfect for veg. I use Sensi because I don't want to mess with the PH and it has other ingredients in it too that seems to benefit the taste . 2 bottles, A&B. My experience, My opinion. Nothing more.

Why would I 'test' their 'second best' nutrient line when their 'premium' Connoisseur shit the bed in hydro? I've seen sensi work but it's watery as f*ck. Two litres wouldn't last me a 9 week flowering cycle in my 16-18 gallon res. I'm not about to spend $85 locally on gallons of plant food I'd likely use only once.

Here's an idea; since you claim to have more space, why don't YOU run a journal comparing the two? I don't know how credible it'd be given your history but at least you'd be contributing.

right on brobie, ive seen his work and its really nothing special. he went right to connoisseur without a real good handle on growing. these guys fall back on nute bottles rather than master the art truly of reading the plants....
 
they can tell me salt this, salt that...snake oil this, snake oil that..lol Im in my 40s and albeit a couple hundred posts but hey...call me greenhorn too...it really doesn't matter to me. My journal will say everything I need to say...im on my way and right now got me some perfectly fat tasty bushes and im about to do my flip.

Cause you're not a grand master grower. You dont have the skills to unlock the potential for the connoisseur line. Sensi is for intermediate growers like yourself who dont have the skills to follow such a complex feeding schedule

Have you ever wondered WHY you have to mix and match all those different products together in your res? Here's some fact for you: it's because AN doesn't know how to combine all those salts into one bottle. AN is actually far from 'advanced'.

I was being sarcastic in my post.

Use dyna gro and jacks for my grows. I will admit to being fooled when I first started and picked up some GH kit. After a couple months of mixing everything and plants not doing well along with some additional research I decided not to buy cannabis specific nutes anymore. The results have been much better and way cheaper.

Wealthy men do awful shit all the time, so no I don't find it surprising at all, they get away with it far to often due to their money.

I imagine he's still on house arrest if there is no news of his trial, perhaps they have a bogged down legal system there like we do in Canada. I mean they aren't going to just let him go after putting him on house arrest. Not when the girl has injuries. If she didn't have injuries, or something along those lines I would find it fishy, but no one is going to sexually injure a child out of malice I don't believe it.

And as was stated by Chuck, AN was bought out by Big Mike, he's the full owner now. Eugene has been distanced from the company so it's less likely to end up in our headlines then otherwise.

These guys are amazing marketers and PR folks. They are doing everything in their power to disassociate with this guy, there is a reason for that. You don't buy someone out if they didn't do anything wrong, and you actually believe they did nothing wrong. Especially if that person is your friend... and you believe them yadda yadda

Look at the former pinkberry owner he was bought out too due to his heinous shit.

GH is a cannabis specific nute? Didn't know that, wish they would quit putting pictures of tomatoes n peppers on the damn bottles then.
