the other day this dude was talkin bout hes gettin an onion of weed(referring to the weight) does everybody know what that means and im just a lil slow or is this guy just a dumb ass lol but really if someone know what an onion of weed is let me know please

Ok i found something on urban dictionary it says an onion is an ounce of anything, weed, coke, heroin

elbow=lb=a pound

Not to be racist but I've only heard black people say it, and heard if first about 2 or 3 years ago. The only connection I could find is onion and ounce both start with an O.

I don't consider that racist I live deep in the ghetto and everybody has there own names for an ounce its confusing I rather just say an o everybody.
