An odd CO2 question...

You might laugh, but I have a treadmill in the 10x10 room with my stealth cab. When I run, I open the cab door. How much CO2 do y'all think a person generates over a couple miles or three?

When I'm done, the room is steamy so I have to run the dehumidifier, so any benefits get exhausted pretty quickly. I was just wonderin'...

Not enough to do anything, and plus all that moisture can help grow bacteria and mold so i'd suggest doing ur running else where and get a CO2 tank for maximum results.

Jogging speed is approximately 6 miles per hour, (a mile in 10 minutes), => 75 liters of CO2 per mile.

That's about 3.3 moles of CO2 which is 147 grams.[/FONT]

@sk8punk, thanks for the input. I figured it wasn't enough to make any difference. Unfortunately, I have to keep running in the same room. With the door closed, the humidity goes up about 5% in the box. Still stays below 60%. I think the fan I have keeps the moisture out along with the dehumidifier, but I'll def keep an eye out for bacteria and mold issues. I would like a CO2 system, but will have to wait until I have more grow room. 2X2X3 doesn't leave much space for anything but bud, water, and light.

@woodsmaneh!, now that's what I call a freakin answer! Well done. Only problem is I only go 6 mph for one mile, the rest is between 5.6 and 5.8 depending on the day, and I'm at VO2 max for probably the last quarter of running (what can I say, I was a cig smoker for twenty years). So, could you please recalculate and give me the totals that take into account those variables?? JK. +rep and just send the bill to the address on file at RIU.

Any extra co2 is good to the point of toxicity, so as long as the humidity isn't causing problems you're all good! I know some hippys who play guitar and sing to their plants. Guitar for the sound benefits and singing for the co2

when I stand in my grow room the CO2 level spikes to around 600-700 with the door closed.

In the latter stages of flower, when I masturbate in there, the increased activity causes around 800 ppm in total co2 levels. Room volume around 563 cubic feet.
